Medline advocates for EMS reimbursement, workforce shortage solutions

The end to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) in May is expected to cause sweeping changes across the continuum of healthcare. Sixteen Medline advocates joined EMS professionals in Washington, DC, for EMS On The Hill Day, sponsored by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), to advocate for the needs of patients, EMS workers and providers.

Recognizing the lack of evidence-based recommendations to address the needs of at-risk skin, a panel of nine skin health experts from across the continuum of care formed the Coalition for At-Risk Skin (CARS). They have developed 21 consensus statements to help provide a roadmap for skin care protocols.
