Katie... ...has been a hairdresser for over 31 years and in 2013 she was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Whilst surgery has reduced the tumour she continues to suffer many side effects such as loss of hearing, double vision, sensitivity to light and issues with her balance. Unable to work, Katie is housebound. Both Katie and her son Jacob have been made as beneficiaries.
ONE D AY In March this year, Katie heard that her tumour had grown.
