Abstract 2 was curated to share a collection of artworks that evokes thoughtful discussion and conversations based on the Light, Layering and Texture created by our local and International artists.
Texture is an important part of our interaction with art and can affect mood, evoke psychological associations, bring attention to a medium, or divert our focus toward materials used in a work.
Layering is often used to create drama, and to affect the way Light interacts with the surface of their images since certain layers can create shadows and highlights.
Step back and enjoy the works from far and then up close and take note of what if anything changes.
