DISC GOLF COURSE Montgomery County Parks & Recreation has a 38-hole Disc Golf course for you to enjoy. This is a very unique course that consists of wooded fairways, with a variety of elevation gains. This course is the 5th largest east of the Mississippi! The course is free to play; all we ask is that you take out what you bring in. If you have any questions, give us a call at (540) 382-6975. Before you play The Rules: Throw a disc from tee to target over each hole of the course in the fewest throws. Each throw after the tee shot is addressed as a stroke from the lie of the previous throw. Discs thrown over fencing or stuck in a tree at least six feet high are considered a penalty stroke. Par for each 19hole course is 57. Remember to yield to trail users when crossing paths. Have fun and good luck! The Map: Follow the map (next page) through each 19-hole course Golden Bear (blue line) or Black Bear (green line). The Scorecard: If you want to make it competitive - or you’re just curious how you compare to those pro disc golfers! - take a scorecard (on the back of the map) on the course with you.
