Owner To Ko says the focus of the restaurant is to provide a home away from home, with food that is prepared fresh and made to order. The restaurant is a family affair, something Ko says resonates with diners. “Our customers are like our extended family,” Ko says. “We care about everyone that walks through our doors.” Ko says it’s this type of personal touch that likely led to this year’s honor. “Even though lots of restaurants are similar in cooking, we like to think we stand out because of our care for our customers. Our customers really are our extended family,” Ko says. “We have a simple rule here: If you’re not going to eat it, don’t send it out for someone else to eat.”
