Bangkok Paradise has specialized in Thai cuisine since it opened its doors in 2011.

The restaurant since then has earned a loyal following – one that selected Bangkok Paradise as Solano County’s Best Thai Restaurant in the Daily Republic’s 2022 Readers’ Choice survey.

Owner To Ko says the focus of the restaurant is to provide a home away from home, with food that is prepared fresh and made to order. The restaurant is a family affair, something Ko says resonates with diners.

“Our customers are like our extended family,” Ko says. “We care about everyone that walks through our doors.”

Ko says it’s this type of personal touch that likely led to this year’s honor.

“Even though lots of restaurants are similar in cooking, we like to think we stand out because of our care for our customers. Our customers really are our extended family,” Ko says. “We have a simple rule here: If you’re not going to eat it, don’t send it out for someone else to eat.”
