If you accept an offer with no contingencies congrats, this process just got a whole lot easier! If there are contingencies attached, we will work with the buyer’s agent to get everything squared away prior to closing
If you reject the offer, it’s up to the buyers to decide what they want to do next – they can submit a new offer or look elsewhere
If you want to make a counter offer, we will discuss the terms we wish to change (price, closing date, etc ) We then provide a signed counter offer with the terms you want
If you receive multiple offers we will work with you to ensure you understand the nuances of each offer The strength of an offer does not always come down to the highest number on the table Important factors include: financing terms, the buyer’s agent, the earnest money amount, due diligence period, and more We’ll help you evaluate the full picture, so you can make the best decision for your sale
Once a title company has been selected by the Buyer, coordinate with the company to get them all necessary information (i e : contact information, mortgage pay off if applicable, etc )
Arrange for your mail to be forwarded to your new address
Arrange for your utilities to be disconnected the day after closing (electricity, gas, cable, etc )
Hire a moving company or coordinate move out (if using)
Continue to maintain the home; cut the grass, shovel the sidewalks, and continue paying your home insurance coverage
