Preparation is key to overcoming and surviving natural disasters. Environmental hazards are present no matter where service members and their families. "Ready, Set, Prepare" shows how to plan and prepare for the unexpected and keeping you and your family as safe as possible This course explains the geographic dangers specific to your location and provides the tools necessary to successfully navigate them.

L.I.N.K.S. Foundations

The mission of L I N K S is to empower Marines, Sailors, and their family members to navigate the military lifestyle and the unique challenges that it encompasses by increasing their understanding of the tools and resources available to them. This is a great opportunity for families to receive a crash course in the Marine Corps. Come get information about the history and traditions of the Corps, the benefits and services allotted, entitlements, deductions, and basic awareness of payday and leave & earnings statements, separation and deployment survival, homecomings, OPSEC, moving, investing in your community, and volunteer opportunities. L.I.N.K.S. is a great place to network, make new friends, and lean how to thrive in the world of the Marine Corps. OOH RAH!

Marine Corps Life will welcome poolee families and introduce them to the history, traditions, culture and mission of the Marine Corps. Poolee families will learn about military lifestyle benefits and what to expect while the poolee transitions to a recruit at MCRD Parris Island and beyond
