CapeFearHonorFlight

We are proud to share that Porters Neck Country Club members Ruth Ravitz Smith and Jim Duley play key roles in the Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area (HFCFA), a program dedicated to celebrating and honoring our nation’s veterans Through their involvement, the recent Honor Flight welcomed 84 veterans home after a meaningful visit to Washington, D.C., where they had the opportunity to reflect and connect with fellow service members.

The Honor Flight program, led locally by Ruth, provides these trips at no cost to the veterans, ensuring they receive the recognition they deserve Jim Duley, participating as both a veteran and advocate, highlighted the profound impact such experiences have on those who served The community's involvement, including the heartfelt welcome at ILM, underscores the collective appreciation for our veterans' sacrifices.

Interest in membership remains strong both from Wilmington locals and families planning a move to the area. Currently, there are 97 members on the Golf Waiting List, and we are estimating a wait of 14 to 18 months for anyone who gets on the list now. That wait time will increase as our membership numbers continue to grow. If joining or upgrading is part of plans for 2025, now is an excellent time to act an initiation fee increase is scheduled for June 30th Additionally, as membership growth continues, availability across all categories is becoming increasingly limited

$15,000 Payable in Two Annual Installments of $7,500

GOLF MEMBERSHIP

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more, I’d love to connect. Have them reach out to schedule a tour and discover for themselves what makes life so good in our NECK of the woods!
