Giving and Getting Involved

G U I D E T O Our Mission: We are dedicated to raising confident, self-reliant individuals, in partnership with families, while instilling a sense of curiosity, a passion for learning, and a commitment to having an impact on the broader community.

Annual Giving

Unrestricted cash gifts to the NPES FundA gift given in support of current initiatives and goals that also reflect your interests (with funds to be prioritized and applied as the school is able)

Financial support for the Fun Run Participation in the auction paddle raise Silent and live auction purchases

The NPES Fund - The NPES Fund is our annual giving fund, which gives direct support to our programs and enriches the student experience above and beyond what tuition can supporttuition largely funds our operations, whereas annual giving enhances our offerings. While every family is expected to contribute a minimum of $1900 per student to the NPES Fund, gifts above that minimum are necessary for us to achieve our goals for the school.

Annual charitable giving is an essential and relied upon aspect of parent involvement. We depend on the generosity of our community to offer the full NPES experience to all students, and to make important improvements to our program.

Capital Campaign

Capital campaigns are targeted fundraising efforts over a specific period of time and are separate from annual giving.

Project North Park - Our first-ever capital campaign to renovate our building concluded in the fall of 2021. The school expanded into our former garage space, renovated and refreshed student spaces, and created more secure entry and exit points. All gifts to Project North Park are tax deductible.

Note that in-kind gifts do not qualify as annual giving opportunities.

In-Kind Gifts Items for Silent Auction Items for Live Auction Hosting Auction Parties Items for use in school Professional skills/services

In-kind gifts are contributions of goods or services that allow us to alleviate budget constraints or auction/raffle off to raise funds. InKind gifts include:

Fun Run - Each May, our students get involved in fundraising for NPES. They collect pledges, run laps around the school, and win prizes! All donations to the Fun Run are tax deductible.

The easiest way to get involved at NPES is by attending our annual special events. We hope to see you there! Fall Cook-Off - Each fall, we join together for a head-to-head cooking competition. Join other NPES parents for food, drinks, and fun. And if you're feeling brave, put on your apron and get cooking!

Auction - The highlight of our social and fundraising year, the annual auction (held the first Saturday in March) is a great opportunity to have a blast and support NPES. You can count on great auction items, food, and entertainment.
