A NEW BALANCE

“2020 Brunello will be an aromatic Brunello with supple tannins and rich texture. It’s coming from a warm vintage that reminds me of 2015 in style.”

2020 VINTAGE NOTES

Hot winter, infrequent rainfall, but sufficient for water requirements. June and July were perfect, characterised by some rain and a beautiful temperature range. The end of July and the beginning of August were very hot weeks, with the vineyards reacting very well without going into water stress. A rainfall at the end of the summer allowed for a gradual and homogeneous ripening.

It was a hot winter with little rain, enough for water needs. June and July were ideal, with some rain and nice temperatures. Late July and early August were very hot, but the vineyards thrived without water stress. Rain at summer ’s end helped with steady ripening.
