DAY 2 Columbia River Gorge: This morning features the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise as high as 2,000 feet! First a stop at Crown Point offers spectacular gorge views from Vista House, then you’ll see splendid Multnomah Falls, mammoth Bonneville Lock and Dam. This afternoon a guided tour of Portland includes Lloyd Center, the downtown area on the Willamette River, Old Town Historic District and famed International Rose Test Gardens. Meal: B DAY 3 Explore the Oregon Coast: Today begins an
exploration of the magnificent Oregon Coast with its beaches, sheer cliffs, and pounding surf. Stop at the Tillamook Cheese Factory and take the breathtaking Three Capes Scenic Drive before returning to Portland.
DAY 4 Oregon Dunes Buggy Tour: Return to the coast to view the 1873 Yaquina Head Lighthouse, tallest in the state. Continue south along the coast to Florence. Here, the day’s sightseeing includes exploration of the fabulous 250-foot sand dunes at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area by four-wheel-drive vehicle. Meal: B DAY 5 Crater Lake National Park: Today features the
natural wonders of Crater Lake National Park, where rain and snow filled the empty caldera of an ancient volcano with brilliant blue waters to a depth of 1,932 feet, creating the deepest lake in North America. Follow the Western Rim Drive for unmatched panoramic views. Meals: B, D
DAY 6 Mt. Shasta and State Historic Park: En route today see the glacier-capped 14,162-foot Mt. Shasta, considered one of the most impressive mountains in the nation. At Shasta State Historic Park visit the Old Courthouse Museum and learn the history of this once bustling “Queen City” of gold rush mining towns. Later, continue to the coast and Eureka. Meals: B, D
