Playing a musical instrument is not just about the music itself - it’s so much more. Playing music is a gift that every human being can have. You’re never too old or young to learn, everyone deserves the enjoyment of playing music. At some point in your day you are listening to music which always grabs a memory, a feeling or an ambition. People often say, ‘I’ve always wanted to learn an instrument but I never have the time’ and our reply is ‘You do have time! If you have the passion, you just need commitment’. This applies especially to adults, with discipline these goals can be achieved with as little as 30 minutes per day. What other stress relief and therapy would be better than music! Playing music is enjoyable and will give you a sense of accomplishment and pride as you achieve your musical goals, while enhancing and enriching your life, happiness and general mental well-being. If you love music like we do, you’ll play every moment you can get, as music is so rewarding and fulfilling in all aspects. Music can assist in improving social skills by playing music in a duo, group, team or band situation and building life-long friendships. Music brings families together, music brings communities together, music bridges barriers that spoken word sometimes cannot.
