Since graduating last spring (2021), I have spent a lot of time with friends and family. On July 10, 2021, I moved to the Coast Guard Academy and started a new life. I started military training and homework all in one. I was able to graduate from our training program and move on to the school year. I have been on Coast Guard ships, done drill competitions, and been taught to pay attention to the details over five weeks. Some of my hobbies include being outside, kayaking, spending time with friends and family, and doing any sports. Mater Dei prepared me very well in the math department. I feel like that is the class I have seen the most I have learned from Mater Dei. Overall the school’s work ethic really was put into me and grew me over time and prepared me. I also have a sister, Claire Ross, who’s a sophomore at Mater Dei.
