THE ART OF ENCOURAGEMENT, EMPOWERING TEAMS, AND CULTIVATING A CULTURE OF WELLNESS

Presenter: Jordan Montgomery - Montgomery Companies This keynote and workshop session is focused on supporting teams, spreading joy and serving from the heart. Audience members can expect to hear stories filled with practical application on building culture, attracting talent, retaining talent, and getting the most out of teams. This presentation includes tangible strategies for influencing others and challenges audience members to communicate at a higher level! Participants will be asked to evaluate their current culture and assess their own influential style. The interactive framework will allow participants to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss strategies for empowering their teams!

The Wellness Connection: Building a Better You” Retreat by Master Builders of Iowa will focus on fostering a culture of wellness within the construction industry.

By emphasizing the importance of wellbeing in both personal and professional life, this event aims to promote healthy lifestyles and create a more resilient and productive workforce. The retreat addresses the 8 Dimensions of Wellness, offering participants the tools and resources needed to thrive at work, in the community, and at home.

1. Empowering Teams - Participants will have increased awareness toward establishing trust with their team and building a culture that prioritizes all 8 Dimensions of Wellness.

2. Effective Communication - Participants will be able to communicate more effectively with team members and as a result see increased engagement and initiative.

3. Emotional Intelligence - Participants will be equipped with tools and strategies for better understanding their team members and tuning into the needs of their people.

CONSTRUCTING A LEGACY: LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE & IMPACT

Presenter: Trey Smith - Kansas City Chiefs In this powerful keynote, two-time Super Bowl Champion Trey Smith shares his story of triumph over adversity, drawing from his experiences on and off the football field. From overcoming the early loss of his mother to facing medical challenges, Trey’s journey is one of resilience, grit, and faith. With a passion for helping others build lives of purpose and impact, Trey will offer insights on transforming setbacks into opportunities, the importance of faith and hard work, and how to construct a life that withstands any storm. Attendees will leave inspired, equipped with practical tools to overcome their own challenges, and empowered to build a meaningful life of influence.

2. Identify techniques for maintaining focus and motivation in the face of adversity.

BUILDING A BLUEPRINT FOR A LIFE THAT LASTS: FAITH & FORTITUDE IN ACTION

Presenter: Trey Smith - Kansas City Chiefs | Ashley Smith - National Football League In this candid and impactful Q&A workshop, siblings Ashley and Trey Smith will share their journey of resilience, strength, and determination. From facing the loss of their mother at a young age to embracing faith and hard work to achieve their dreams, their story is one of turning challenges into purpose. Attendees will gain insight into the power of persistence, the importance of a growth mindset, and actionable strategies for overcoming personal and professional obstacles. Through an interactive dialogue, they will inspire attendees to build a life that stands the test of adversity, grounded in principles of faith, resilience, and purpose.

Presenter: Jeremy Foster - Maxwell Leadership Inc. In this session we will explore the critical difference between vision and culture, and how vision provides direction, but culture determines behavior and pace. A strong vision may set goals, but only a welldeveloped culture ensures that those goals are met with consistency, resilience, and excellence. This session will focus on building a leadership culture that prioritizes developing leaders and not just producing results. We will discuss how a leadership-driven organization fosters holistic wellness across multiple dimensions—physical, emotional, social, intellectual, occupational, environmental, financial, and spiritual.

Attendees will walk away with actionable strategies to create a thriving, people-centered culture that drives both growth and long-term success.
