Afroditi, Mary, Elena, Anna- class 6b Dorothy’s Travels

Once upon a time, in the Middle Ages, there was a castle in Scotland, where a beautiful girl called Dorothy was born.

When Dorothy was ten years old, she wanted to travel all around Europe.

But her parents didn’t let her leave the palace and travel to another country because they thought the people outside the castle were too dangerous for her.

One day, Pigsticks and Harold, two popular explorers who were travelling all around the world, were walking by the castle and they saw Dorothy crying next to the window. They called out to Dorothy and asked her: -

Why are you crying little girl? I want to travel around Europe. But I can’t. Why can’t you? Because my parents think that the world is too dangerous for me. They don’t let me go out of the castle. Don’t worry, we can explore Europe together. Really? Of course! But you didn’t tell us your name.

-

I’m Dorothy. Come on, Dorothy! Hurry up!

They threw her a rope and Dorothy got out of the castle. Dorothy’s dream started to come true.

While they were travelling, they met princess Lily who was trying to guess Rumpelstilskin’s name so that he wouldn’t take her baby. Pigsticks and Harold who happened to know Rumpelstilskin, wanted to help Lily. -

Lily, we can help you! His name is Rumpelstilskin! Really, is this his real name?

So, Lily went to Rumpelstilskin and said: -

Your name is Rumpelstilskin, right? Oh, no! You found my name! How did you do that?

Rampelstilskin was very angry! Then, Pigsticks and Harold asked Lily. -

Do you want to come with us, Lily? We are travelling around Europe. Are you coming? I’ve always wanted to travel around Europe! Yes, I’m coming with you!

So, they all continued their travel together.

While they were going to Ireland, they met Angus, a big and strong giant from Scotland. When Angus saw the four travelers said: -

Who are you? Get out of my way! I am Dorothy and these are my friends Pigstick, Harold and Lily. We are travelling around Europe. And I am Angus. I’m the biggest and strongest giant of all. Go away!

As Angus didn’t let them go across to Ireland, they had an idea! They called Fin McCool, an old friend of Pigsticks’ and Harold’s, who was a giant from Ireland. When Fin arrived they started fighting. -

I am Fin McCool the strongest giant of all! No, me Angus, I am the strongest giant of all!

While they were busy fighting, Dorothy and her friends crossed over to Ireland. After that, they travelled to some more countries all over Europe. Dorothy’s dream was finally true. Now, she had to go back to her castle. She was happy because she had travelled around Europe but sad because this was the end. Pigsticks, Harold and Lily promised Dorothy they would do this again soon. Next time, they would travel all around the world!

Catherine, Natalia, Marilena, Natassa – class 6b Lost in EuroDisney Once upon a time, there were two children, Charlie and Lola, who lived in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. One day, they decided with their parents to go to EuroDisney. They took their suitcases and flew to Paris by plane.

When they arrived, Lola said: -

Wow! This is an amazing place!

… and she ran into the games. Suddenly, Charlie looked back but Lola wasn’t there. She had disappeared. -

Lola, Lola! Where are you?

… he shouted but Lola didn’t answer. He looked and looked and looked but he couldn’t find her. There was one place left that he hadn’t searched. It was the Haunted House. Charlie didn’t want to get in there at first because he was scared. In the end, he decided to get in and rescue his sister, because there was no other solution.

When he arrived, someone was waiting for him. It was… RAMPELSTILSKIN!, the scary goblin. -

Who are you?, asked Charlie. And where is my sister? Your little sister isn’t here!, said Rampelstilskin.

-

If you want to get in, you have to give me your ball!, answered Rampelstilskin. No!, shouted Charlie. If you don’t give me your ball, I’ll kill you, said Rampelstilskin. Mmm! OK!, agreed Charlie, but then you’ll give me my sister!, he added.

Charlie gave Rampelstilskin his ball and he let him get in. When he got into the house, he found himself in a dirty dark room, where he saw his sister locked in a cage. -

Lola! Lola! You’re alive!, shouted Carlie. Yes!, said Lola, but Angus has got the key! Angus?, asked Charlie. Who is Angus? Where is he? Angus is a very big, bad giant, a friend of Rampelstilskin’s. He locked me in this cage and took the key, said Lola. OK! But where is Angus?, asked Charlie. He is sleeping next door, said Lola. Take the key and unlock me.

Charlie went to the room where Angus was sleeping.

-

Thank God!, said Charlie. Angus is sleeping and I can take the key easily! Charlie took the key, unlocked Lola and they both left without any problem.

They flew back home and never thought about the scary time they had in EuroDisney again. They lived happily ever after!

Diamantis, Thanos, Nick, Thanos, Stratos, Jim-class 6b

An epic fight Once upon a time, on Mount Olympus, in Greece, there was a luxurious palace, where the proud king Fin McCool was ruling with his mighty army. He had come all the way from Ireland because he liked the warm weather of Greece. The leader of Fin McCool’s army was Homer’s great Greek hero, Odysseus, and his greatest soldier was Polyphemus, a tall one-eyed Cyclops.

Across the river Pinios, there was a hut, where Angus, the big giant of Scotland, Gruffalo, a terrifying monster from Britain and Rampelstilskin, a small goblin from Germany, lived. They were the “bad boys” of the kingdom. The problem with them was that they never had enough money to eat and were always trying to steal food and gold from the palace. One day, the thieves were very hungry again. -

What can we eat?, asked Rampelstilskin. We don’t have any food at all!, said Gruffalo. Let’s go rob the palace, Angus suggested.

So the “bad boys”, once again went to the Palace storage house, to steal gold and food. It wasn’t difficult for them to do it, as there were no guards around.

The following week, they decided to rob the big bank of the palace. But this time, the King was prepared for them and had a very strong army with archers, waiting for them on the way to the palace. When the thieves got close to the palace, they saw the huge army waiting for them. Then, Rampelstilskin had an idea. -

Oh, I know! Let’s call the goblins from Hobbit, he said. They can help us!

The goblins came but their help was not enough to defeat the king’s army, who was ready to kill the enemies. When the fight ended, all the enemies of the palace were dead. Fortunately, the palace has been safe from every threat, ever since. THE END

Asterios, Aristeidis, Stelios, Marios-class 6b The wizard of Paris

Once upon a time, there were two giants, Fin McCool and Angus, who lived in Rome. They were both very strong, but they were always fighting with each other to show who was the strongest.

This led them to a big fight and they fell into the Mediterranean sea. They fought with the waves for days.

One day, they reached a shore but they couldn’t recognize the city, where they were. There was a big castle and a very tall tower. They asked for help but no one could help them. Then, they met Marco Polo and Christopher Colombus, the famous explorers who told them they were in Malta. The two great men had found a big treasure: a bag full of gold. Anyway, they helped Angus and Fin McCool get back home. They took them in their boat and headed back to Rome.

On their way, they saw a goblin. His name was Rampelstilskin and he was a wicked wizard. The four heroes told him that they wanted to go to Rome and Rampelstilskin agreed to help them get there sooner, on one condition. -

If you give me a share of the treasure, I’ll help you with anything you want.

But, being a bad wizard, he took his share and, then, made a thunder fall on Marco Polo, Fin McCool, Angus and Christopher Colombus. They all fell down, so Rampelstilskin got the whole treasure and hid it in his city, Paris. When the four men woke up, they couldn’t find their treasure and they realized Rampelstilskin was a vicious goblin who had robbed them. Then, they asked for help from the wizard of Paris, who was Marco Polo’s old friend. He sent his soldiers to help Marco Polo, Christopher Colombus, Angus and Fin McCool find Rampelstilskin.

Unfortunately, Rampelstilskin made a very big explosion that killed all of them and made Paris disappear for 100 years‌ THE END

Every morning, he used to go to the forest for a morning walk. Crossing the forest, he met an old woman who told him a strange riddle: “Travel in the books and find the treasure. He started looking in the library for some clues. Two hours later, he discovered a map of Europe about a treasure of gold coins along with information about travelling around Europe. So, he decided to start his travels.

His first destination was to France. There, he had to meet Pigsticks who had a clue about the riddle. When he met him, he asked for his help. -

Are you Pigsticks?, he asked.

-

Yes, what do you want?

-

I need your help!.Do you know about a treasure somewhere in Europe?

-

Yes, I have a clue which can help you. But if I give it to you, you should take me with you.

So, they went to Pigsticks’ home and he gave the clue to Rampelstilskin. The clue said: “The Big Ben can help you. Where is it? Go there!”. So, Rampelstilskin and Pigsticks started their travel to London. They had to meet Charlie and Lola, two siblings who had the second clue. When they arrived in London, they tried to find them. An hour later, they found Charlie and Lola. -

Are you Charlie and Lola?, they asked.

-

Yes, we are.

-

Do you know about a mystery treasure somewhere in Europe?

-

Yes, we have the second clue.

-

Can you give it to us?, they asked.

-

Yes, but you must take us with you.

So, they took them to Big Ben to find the second clue. The clue said: “You found the second clue. Now learn where Trinity College is and go there”. Rampelstilskin told them that Trinity College was in Dublin, Ireland.

There, he had to meet Lilly, a beautiful princess who led them to Trinity College, in Dublin. When they arrived there, they started looking in the college library. Charlie found the third clue, which said: “Can you find Gruffalo? He is a very big, big monster”. -Who is Gruffalo and where is he?, wondered Rampelstilskin. Lilly fortunately knew that Gruffalo was in Scotland, so they all set off to travel to Scotland.

When they arrived there, they tried to find Gruffalo. They looked for the monster in the forest and they found him, an hour later. He gave them the last clue: “the treasure is in Gruffalo’s cave, in the forest”. So, Gruffalo took them to his cave and they found the treasure. They shared the treasure and lived happily ever after. Once upon a time, there was a woman, Lilly, and her sister, Oona, who had a daughter, Astrid. They lived in Rome, Italy. Astrid’s father was a king who had seven palaces. Lilly, Oona and Astrid had two friends, Fin McCool and Tinkerbelle. They all had a special skill: they could fly!

Tinkerbelle lived in the Tower of Pizza, in Italy. One day, as Oona, Lilly and Astrid were visiting their friend, Tinkerbelle, flying over Italy, they saw three bad fairytale heroes, Rampelstilskin, the goblin, Angus, a Scottish giant, and a Bear.

They were so jealous of Oona, Lilly and Astrid because they couldn’t fly. So, they followed the three women all the way to the Tower of Pizza and started thinking about how to get their wings. -

Guys! I’ve been thinking…, said Rampelstilskin. What about?, asked the Bear. Let’s cut off their wings!, he answered. That’s a great idea!, said Angus.

She asked them. - Three bad guys got them from us. - I have an idea, said Tinkerbelle. My friend the wizard of Oz will help you. I’ll take you to him.

Another world Bill M, Andrew, Catherine Koutouka, Nick, Panos – class 6a

Once upon a time, the Scottish giant, Angus, the elf, Rampelstilskin and the Cyclops, Polyphemus met in a forest, while they were walking. They accidentally ran into each other and saw that all of them were the bad characters of classic fairy tales. So, they became friends. At that moment, Lilly, a good girl from a poor family, smart and genius Odysseus and the greatest giant from Ireland, Fin McCool, met as well.

So both companies were having fun walking through the forest. It was getting dark though and they should return to go to bed. Then, Angus suggested going to

Thessaloniki. By coincidence, Lilly, Fin McCool and Odysseus had the same idea to go to Thessaloniki. They all went straight to the White Tower. Then, a very bad, vicious witch, Vanessa, cast a spell on them. She hated all fairy tale heroes, good or bad. She wanted to make heroes fight and as a result people would hate fairy tales from now on. Therefore, she made Lilly, Fin McCool and Odysseus switch bodies with Angus, Rampelstilskin and Polyphemus. Next day, Odysseus, Fin McCool and Lilly were about to go for a walk around the city. Polyphemus, Angus and Rampelstilskin decided to do the same and Vanessa was so excited that her spell was going to get even worse. At around midday, both companies were walking towards a location that the witch had actually “told” them through the curse. Suddenly, Lilly suggested that they did not go there and the wicked witch, Vanessa, was so angry that she tried to strengthen the curse so much that she could really control their brains!

Vanessa brought the curse in full scale. None of the heroes could think of anything else but going to the White tower. 20 minutes later all 6 heroes were inside the White tower when a big earthquake happened and the tower fell apart. All the heroes were buried under the debris. Then everybody believed that fairy tales were to blame for the destruction of the White tower, so people hated them ever since. Vanessa’s wish had come true…. THE END
