Welcome to the 5th Edition of Maspalomas Winter Pride!

Este año hemos visto que ciertos gobiernos e instituciones en el mundo están trabajando en contra de nuestra comunidad LGTB tratando de erradicar los derechos que nos ha costado tanto conseguir.

Again this year, we’ve seen that certain people, governments and institutions around the world are working against our LGTB community and trying to eradicate the rights we’ve worked hard to gain.

Hemos logrado mucho, pero no podemos ser complacientes.

Tenemos que seguir luchando por nuestros derechos, por eso TODOS los PRIDES son tan importantes.

Over the decades we’ve achieved a lot but we can’t be complacent. We need to keep fighting for our rights – that’s why ALL Prides are so important.

Aquí en Gran Canaria vivimos en un verdadero paraíso ,siempre tenemos la colaboración de nuestro gobierno local (San Bartolomé de Tirajana ) que nos apoya cada año con el Winter Pride. Pero no podemos olvidarnos de nuestros hermanos y hermanas en todo el mundo que están sufriendo.

We’re lucky here in Gran Canaria - we really do live in a paradise.

We have the collaboration of our local government San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Maspalomas) who support us each year with Maspalomas Winter Pride but we can’t forget our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering.

FREE Make your voice be heard! After last year’s success, we’ll be holding another Sign Making Workshop at Pride Properties GC. Come along, have a drink and paint your own slogan! All signs will be used during the Pride Walk on 11 of November! The address is Edificio Mercurio, Tower 1, Floor 3, Door A on the Avenida de Tirajana (post office building)

FREE With the 2nd edition of Pride Stars (Maspalomas Got Talent), powered by Kiki Bar. With tapas during the entire night and an opening concert of the cuban band Son del Caney. Than the grand final of the Pride Stars competion. Followed by a spectacular performance of the best live band of the Canary Islands; Los Salvapantallas and dance session with DJ Beatheaven.
