MAS kicked off the school year with a warm and festive welcome, featuring music, icebreakers, and activities that fostered connection and pride. New students were embraced, expectations were clearly set, and ambassadors led the reception, ensuring a smooth and memorable start to an exciting academic journey.

At the start of the new school year, staff were warmly welcomed back by Mr. Tayseer and Mrs. Omaya, with a traditional breakfast, to start another great year ahead! The familiar gathering was a chance to reconnect after the summer break with positivity among colleagues. We thank Mr. Tayseer and Mrs. Omaya for a warm start to the school year and look forward to a great year ahead!

The Induction Program we conduct in August is a thoughtfully crafted orientation designed to seamlessly integrate new educators into our dynamic school community. This program plays a pivotal role in welcoming and equipping them to begin their teaching journey with confidence.
Beyond providing essential guidance for newcomers, the Induction Program includes collaborative sessions that unite all teachers, promoting a culture of teamwork and a shared sense of purpose as they collectively plan for the upcoming academic year. These collaborative opportunities encourage experienced and new educators to engage in meaningful dialogue, exchange best practices, and align their instructional strategies, thereby strengthening the overall unity of our teaching staff. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and activities, educators gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be part of our school, reinforcing a sense of belonging and commitment to our shared goals.

The session was both engaging and informative, and we are proud to have taken this important step in expanding learning experiences for our students at MAS.

Last week, we welcomed middle school parents to an insightful session on the Middle Years Programme (MYP) teaching methodology. Participants gained valuable insights into how inquiry-based approach enhances critical thinking and collaboration among students, equipping them with essential skills for the future.
During the session, we highlighted how MYP encourages students to tackle reallife contexts through project-based learning. By engaging in meaningful projects and assessments, students apply their knowledge to solve problems, fostering creativity and adaptability.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this valuable experience! Your involvement is crucial in supporting our students’ growth and success.
