BadRap is a CA-based advocacy group devoted to protecting the stigmatized bully breeds that have long had a bad rap in society. They provide the much needed care, adoption programs, training classes for owners, and public educational resources on these misunderstood breeds.
Jonny Justice was a celebrated trailblazer who won the world's heart after surviving Bad Newz Kennels, the Virginia dog fighting ring run by then-NFL quarterback Michael Vick. Jonny was seized by federal authorities in 2007 along with 50 other dogs and held as evidence while a federal judge decided th nature earned him a second chance and we w the care of BADRAP. Jonny appeared in doze and went on to earn his Canine Good Citizen and his American Temperament Test
Jonny's life work and loving example helped e about 'pit bulls' and inspired a revolution in the victims are treated.

Her heroic efforts earned her 2018 Dog of the Year and she has not one but TWO children's books about her inspiring story!
