Where do you live? I am from Melbourne, Australia How long have you been doing makeup for? I have been doing makeup all my life but I finished my diploma in April of this year, the best thing I have ever done.

Why did you start doing makeup? I have always been drawn to things that let me express my creative side, things like drawing and painting as well as makeup, though with makeup I can do this on a daily basis. I decided to get my qualification because I wanted to do something with my life that I love and makes me happy.

What is it about makeup that you love so much? I love being apart of helping women feel good about themselves and realising their inner beauty. Some people see makeup as a mask or a barrier, hiding yourself from the world but that's not how I see it at all, I see it as allowing your inner self to come alive, having the confidence to be what you really want to be rather than second guessing yourself and thinking no one will listen. My favourite part of doing a makeover is handing my client the mirror and watching their face light up, their confidence almost immediately boost, and seeing their smile.

What were you doing before you were doing makeup? Before I started doing makeup professionally I was working in hospitality.

If you were not a makeup artist, what would you be doing instead? I would probably still be in hospitality and studying to become a chef.

What is your favourite genre of makeup? That's such a hard question, I love all kinds of makeup from the more natural looks all the way through to more avant gard and SFX. My favourite to apply is probably more avant gard looks, like this earth theme because I don't get to do them as much as I would like to.

What do you least like about doing makeup? Carrying all my products and tools! I wish I had a Mary Poppins carpet bag so I could fit everything inside one small bag

What makeup product could you not live without? Personally if I had to pick one it would be mascara, but if I could choose three products it would be a brow defining product and a lip liner as well as mascara, if you have these three things you can define your natural features beautifully.

Do all your friends want you to do their makeup before a big night out? Haha most of my friends now are makeup artists as well, so not much anymore but when I was younger yes all the time!

What came first, the chicken or the egg? The chicken, it crossed over the magical road from fantasy land with her husband into our world and made a family, I have no idea.

If you could do anyones makeup past present or future who would it be and why? There are so many people who I would love to do their makeup and have the opportunity to speak with, I would have to say Rae Morris, she is such an Inspiration to me and is one of Australia's best makeup artists. It would be amazing to be able to speak with her and learn everything I can from her while I had her in the chair.

Words to describe yourself? Passionate, loyal, kind. What is your secret talent/party trick? I have no secret talents, probably my Sfx makeup skills but that might not qualify as a part trick, though I can make you have an awesome scar in 15 minutes.

Why did you enter this competition? I entered because I wanted to challenge myself and see how far I could go. I never thought I would win, the other contestants did such amazing work and as much as I loved what myself and my team put together, the work of everyone who entered was so beautiful and unique. I wanted to push myself to do the best I could and I was lucky enough to have a great team behind me as well as my family supporting and helping me along the way.

Which movie would you love to do the makeup? This is such a hard question I would love to have done so many movies but my most favourite I would have loved to be a part of would have to be Tim Burtons "Alice in Wonderland" I love Tim Burtons movies and the creativity he lets shine through in every aspect.

Who would you: Snog? My husband. Marry? My husband. Avoid? A serial killer.
