From January to March, buyer activity strengthened from the previous quarter, with auctions and pre-marketing emerging as the dominant sales methods. The first major auction week of the year recorded a 100% success rate, with most auctions drawing multiple bidders and one receiving an impressive 63 bids. This competitive environment reflected a high level of demand and confidence in the market.

Four bedroom, multi-bathroom homes with off-street parking remained the most sought-after properties, especially in school zones and treelined streets with abundant natural light. Buyers were a mix of local and out-of-area demographics, indicating a broad appeal for well-located, quality homes.

Market confidence continued to rise steadily, with a growing sense of urgency among buyers. Pre-auction offers became increasingly common as buyers attempted to secure properties ahead of competitive bidding. Open home attendance was strong, and enquiries remained high, further reinforcing the positive sentiment.

Looking ahead, the market outlook remains highly positive, with momentum expected to build further in the coming months. Demand for family-friendly homes in prime locations is set to continue, with buyers prioritising lifestyle, convenience, and long-term value. Sellers who present their properties well are likely to benefit from strong results in this highly competitive market.
