GENERAL INFORMATION We look forward to welcoming you to the Weston Homes Community Stadium. We ask for your co-operation and request you abide by the following guidelines designed to assist you. DO’S Do keep your ticket with you at all times. Do be in your seat by the start of the show. Do allow ample time to take advantage of the toilet facilities. Do bring waterproof clothing. Do put any rubbish in the bins provided for you. Do look out for official vendors and concession stalls. Do avoid unlicensed traders outside of the venue offering inferior goods. Do tune in to local radio stations for the latest travel updates. DON’TS Do not bring food or drink of any sort into the venue. Do not arrive with any form of audio or visual recording equipment. There will be security checks in place and items may be confiscated if necessary. Do not put up umbrellas during the concert performance. Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle. ACCESS Buses from all parking sites and our shuttle bus service commence from 3.30pm. Access to the venue will commence at 5.00pm. Please enter by the gates indicated by signage and stewards. From here follow the signage around the venue to find the area, block, row and seat indicated on your ticket. YOUR SEATS This is an outdoor concert. The seating on the pitch is all flat floor, not raised. Seats within the venue may be covered or uncovered. The concert will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Please bring clothing appropriate to the expected weather conditions. Please note that there will not be a left luggage or cloakroom facility at the venue. ON ARRIVAL The concert will commence at approximately 7.45pm. Allow plenty of time for your journey, parking and transfer, and getting to your seat. REFRESHMENTS A range of food and refreshments will be available to purchase inside the venue. Please note there will be limited access to credit/debit card machines. Cash machines will NOT be available within the venue. NO CAMERAS OR TAPE RECORDERS Please do not bring audio/ visual recording equipment, as these will not be permitted within the venue. FIRST AID First Aid points are situated within the venue and are clearly signposted. Any steward will be pleased to direct you. WARNING: Exposure to loud music can cause injury to your hearing. GENERAL DIRECTIONS BY CAR Road closures in the immediate vicinity of the stadium will take place. CONCERT DAY PARKING Over 8,000 parking spaces have been identified at different locations. Please note that access to all car parking will be via Junction 29 of the A12 only for this concert. Tickets for all car parking sites for this concert can be purchased via colutickets.com, 0845 437 9089, or in person at the Colchester United Ticket Office.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS & ROAD CLOSURES Please note that concert day parking restrictions are in place throughout the area local to the stadium. Please do not park in these areas which also include the clearways close to the stadium. Failure to comply with these restrictions may result in parking fines or vehicle removal. Road closures in the immediate vicinity of the stadium will take place post-concert. Full details are available on the Colchester United official website; www.cu-fc.com. STADIUM CAR PARK There will be no access to the stadium site on the day without a stadium parking permit. Tickets are available at a price of £15.00. Junction 28 of the A12 is likely to be very busy so to avoid delays, please avoid this junction and use alternative routes. OFF-SITE PARK & RIDE LOCATIONS Two car parks have been identified as Park & Ride locations (see A & B on the venue map overleaf) and will be served by shuttle buses before and after the concert. To reduce the need to queue on entry, pre-booking is strongly advised. Please have your ticket ready prior to entering the car park. Car Park A: Ardleigh Car Boot Venue (CO7 7QR) - 7,000 spaces available. Car Park B: Essex House, Severalls Business Park (CO4 9YQ) - 137 spaces available. Services will start at 3.30pm and will run regularly and continuously until the start of the concert. Buses will drop off passengers outside the stadium. Post-concert, buses will be parked outside the stadium and will run until 11:45pm. Signs will be displayed in the front of the buses indicating what venue they are destined for. Please note the drop off and pick up locations will be the same before and after the concert. Park and Ride permits are available at £10.00 per vehicle and include the price of the shuttle bus for all of your passengers. Concert tickets will need to be shown on both legs of your journey. PARK & WALK LOCATIONS A Park & Walk location is available approximately a 15 minute walk from the stadium accessible by lit footpaths and sign posted to and from the car park and stadium. This is Colchester Rugby Club (CO4 9WJ – Car Park C on the map overleaf) 280 spaces are available and must be booked in advance at £7.00 per vehicle. Car Park E option available approximately a 10 minute walk along the Boxted Road exit at the back of the Park & Ride car park. Please do not attempt to walk across the A12 Junction. J28 Park & Ride Car Park, Cuckoo Farm Way, Off A12 Junction28, CO4 5JA - 800 spaces are available and must be booked in advance at £10.00 per vehicle. SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE In addition to Park & Ride and Park & Walk locations; a full shuttle bus service will be running from Bruff Close (CO4 5EU – Car Park D on the map overleaf). This is approximately a 5 minute walk away from Colchester Train Station (CO2 7EF) and has 1,300 spaces available. This journey costs £3.00 per person return. Parking at the train station must be paid for separately and cannot be paid for in advance from the Colchester United ticket office. Services start at 3.30pm and will run regularly and continuously until the start of the concert. Buses will drop off passengers outside the stadium. Post-concert, buses will be parked outside the stadium and run until 11:45pm. Signs will be displayed in the front of the buses indicating what venue they destined for. Please note drop off and pick up locations will be the same before and after the concert. A match-day Rover ticket will be available throughout the First Buses network which means that for the price of £2 return, any First Bus service can be used to connect to the Bruff Close Shuttle Bus Service. Please see First Buses website for details: www.firstgroup.com/ukbus PARKING FOR PEOPLE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDS Parking at Car Park A, B & D will be supported by buses with disabled access. When booking tickets online, by phone or in person please inform the club’s Ticket Office of any mobility issues at the point of booking your permit and you will be parked accordingly. PUBLIC TRANSPORT We are keen to promote travel alternatives to the concert by car in order to minimise impact on the environment, local neighbours and the highway network.
