GENERAL INFORMATION We look forward to welcoming you to the Kingsholm Stadium. We ask for your co-operation and request you abide by the following guidelines designed to assist you. DO’S Do keep your ticket with you at all times. Do be in your seat by the start of the show. Do allow ample time to take advantage of the toilet facilities. Do bring waterproof clothing. Do put any rubbish in the bins provided for you. Do look out for official vendors and concession stalls. Do avoid unlicensed traders outside of the venue offering inferior goods. Do tune in to local radio stations for the latest travel updates. DON’TS Do not bring food or drink of any sort into the venue. Do not arrive with any form of audio or visual recording equipment. There will be security checks in place and items may be confiscated if necessary. Do not put up umbrellas during the concert performance. Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle. ACCESS Access to the venue will commence at 4.00pm. Please enter by the gates indicated by signage and stewards. From here follow the signage around the venue to find the area, block, row and seat indicated on your ticket. YOUR SEATS This is an outdoor concert. The seating on the pitch is all flat floor, not raised. Seats within the venue may be covered or uncovered. The concert will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Please bring clothing appropriate to the expected weather conditions. Please note that there will not be a left luggage or cloakroom facility at the venue. ON ARRIVAL The concert will commence at approximately 6.45pm. Please allow plenty of time for your journey and for parking and transfer, as well as getting to your seat. REFRESHMENTS A range of food and refreshments will be available to purchase at the venue. There will be NO access to cash or credit/debit card machines in the venue. It is strongly recommended that you bring cash with you.
At the second roundabout, go straight across, and enter Barnett Way, with the Lloyds Banking Group building on your left. EDF Energy is now directly in front of you, continue to follow the road round and past the main entrance to EDF Energy towards the overflow car park. From the South: Take Junction 11a off the M5, and follow the A417 in the direction of Gloucester. At the first roundabout, take the second turning on the left, and follow the A417 bypass. At the second roundabout, take the first left into Barnett Way. The Lloyds Banking Group building is on your left. EDF Energy is now directly in front of you, continue to follow the road round and past the main entrance to EDF Energy towards the overflow car park. The Kingsholm Stadium Park and Ride, coaches supplied by SWANBROOK and car park kindly supplied by EDF Energy, will run every 15 minutes from Barnwood to Kingsholm Road commencing at 16:00pm The return journey will run every 15 minutes until 23:30pm from Skinner Street. Cost - £1.50 per adult and 50p per child / concession. Please visit www.swanbrook.co.uk for more information. The postcode for the Park and Ride site for GPS / Sat Nav is: GL4 3RS. Car Park A - Gloucester Rugby CIC Car Park & Ride at Tesco St Oswalds - GL1 2SG – 15 minutes walk from Kingsholm/Park & Ride facility – Up to 150 spaces - Pay on Arrival. From the North/East: Exit the A40 at the Longford Roundabout and head towards “City Centre” on the A38. At the next roundabout, take the 3rd exit (right), go through two sets of traffic lights. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit (right) and enter St Oswalds Retail Park. Follow signs for the Gloucester Rugby CIC Car Park. From South/West: Leaving the A40 at the Over Roundabout, take the 3rd exit (right) towards Gloucester City Centre on the A417. Entering Gloucester, continue on the A417, heading under a railway bridge, take the 1st exit at roundabout, with Harvester Restaurant on your left. Follow signs for the Gloucester Rugby CIC Car Park. 17:00 – Park & Rides open. Every 30 minutes. 18:00 – Service every 15 minutes. 20:00 – Services Halted. 21:45 – Service every 15 minutes. 23:30 – Service Ends. *Please note the drop off and pick up locations are the same before and after the concert.
NO CAMERAS OR TAPE RECORDERS Please do not bring audio/ visual recording equipment, as these will not be permitted within the venue.
PARK & WALK Car Park A - Gloucester Rugby CIC Car Park & Ride at Tesco St Oswalds - GL1 2SG – 15 minutes walk from Kingsholm/Park & Ride facility – Up to 150 spaces - Pay on Arrival. Car park opens at 16:00pm with buses running from 17:00pm.
FIRST AID A First Aid point is situated within the venue and is clearly signposted. Any steward will be pleased to direct you.
Car Park B -NCP Bruton Way - GL1 1DG – Approx 400 spaces – 5 minutes walk from Kingsholm Stadium - Pay & Display.

GENERAL DIRECTIONS PARK & RIDE EDF Energy Barnwood Park & Ride – Buses run from 16:00pm until 23:30pm. From the North: Leave the M5 at Junction 11, and follow the A40 in the direction of Gloucester. At the first roundabout you approach, take the second turning on the left (A417 Southbound).
Car Park C - Westgate Car Park - GL1 2TU – Approx 100 spaces – 10 minutes walk from Kingsholm Stadium – Pay & Display. Car Park D - Kings Walk Car Park - GL1 1EA – Approx 300 spaces – 10 minutes walk from Kingsholm Stadium – Pay & Display. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Bus routes which pass Kingsholm will not be running on a Sunday evening. Only major routes into Gloucester City Centre will be running. Train – 10 minutes walk from Kingsholm.
