Nel 2017 aumento del 3,2% per l'export italiano nel Regno Unito
In 2017 Italian exports to the United Kingdom were up 3.2%
Al termine dello scorso anno l'interscambio fra Italia e Regno Unito si è attestato sui 34,5 miliardi di euro, in crescita del 2,4% rispetto ai 33,7 mld del 2016. In particolare le nostre esportazioni hanno fatto segnare un aumento del 3,2% rispetto all'anno precedente, per complessivi 23,1 mld, mentre le importazioni dalla Gran Bretagna sono state pari a 11,4 mld (+1,3% sul 2016). Il Regno Unito è pertanto risultato nel 2017 il quinto partner commerciale dell'Italia, preceduto solo da Germania, Francia, Stati Uniti, e - di poco - dalla Spagna. Il saldo commerciale risulta inoltre positivo per l'Italia per 11,7 mld - il secondo saldo attivo per il nostro Paese dopo gli Stati Uniti - con un incremento del 4,5% rispetto al dato dell'anno precedente. Le voci principali dell'export italiano diretto oltremanica sono state: macchinari (2,7 mld), autoveicoli (1,6 mld), medicinali e farmaceutici (1,3 mld), abbigliamento (1,2 mld), bevande (1 mld), parti e componenti per auto (902 mln), mobili (902 mln) e calzature (605 mln). Il Centro Studi CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE segnala la buona tenuta delle vendite italiane di materiali lapidei lavorati e semilavorati verso la Gran Bretagna - al quarto posto tra i mercati di destinazione settoriale a livello mondiale dopo USA, Germania e Svizzera - che hanno raggiunto i 73,7 milioni di euro, confermando i valori-record del 2016 (-0,7% la variazione annua). Nel 2017 sono tornate a crescere anche le importazioni britanniche di macchine e attrezzature per la lavorazione delle pietre ornamentali "made in Italy", che hanno fatto registrare un aumento del 3,7% rispetto allo stesso periodo dell'anno precedente, per complessivi 36 milioni di euro.
At the end of last year trade between Italy and the United Kingdom amounted to worth of 34.5 billion euros, up 2.4% from the 33.7 billion in 2016. In particular, Italy’s exports to the UK increased 3.2% from the previous year, for a total of 23.1 billion, while imports from Great Britain were worth 11.4 billion (+1.3% from 2016). So in 2017 Great Britain was Italy’s fifth-ranking trade partner, preceded only by Germany, France, the United States and (just by a little) Spain. The trade surplus for Italy was therefore 11.7 billion euros (the second largest, after its surplus with the United States), with an increase of 4.5% from 2016. Italy’s main exports to the United Kingdom were: machines (2.7 billion euros), automobiles (1.6 billion), medicines and pharmaceuticals (1.3 billion), apparel (1.2 billion), beverages (1 billion), auto parts and components (902 million), furniture (902 million) and footwear (605 million). The CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Studies Center confirmed the steadiness of Italy’s sales of finished and semi-finished stone products to Great Britain – the fourth-ranking market worldwide, after the USA, Germany and Switzerland – reaching worth of 73.7 million euros and confirming the record amounts of 2016 (an annual variation of -0.7%). Also growing in 2017 were Great Britain’s purchases of Italian stone-working machinery and equipment, up 3.7% from the previous year for overall revenue of 36 million euros.
