WHAT A YEAR!

From joining this efficacious business at 18 years old, little did I know some 22 years later I would be at the helm. 2024 didn’t disappoint, with our industry growing and many positive studies about the benefits of UV light being published, it reasserted what many of us have been saying for years.

The advances in UV, LED and Red-Light technology have led to lotion manufacturers developing more advanced lotions every year and 2025 is no exception. Throughout the catalogue you will see all new lotions clearly marked up with a NEW icon. The BLISS LOVES icon highlights products that our dedicated team have personally recommended as must haves and the BEST SELLER icon indicates the best sellers within ranges.

Our wonderful team are trained in all the latest launches and love sharing their knowledge with you. We offer online training to help you and your team understand the science behind lotions and key selling points of the brands we stock. PLACING AN ORDER

We know that the success of our business depends upon delivering the products you love, with the best possible service and this continues to be our focus.

FIRST TIME ORDERS

We care about the personal touch, so when you call us you will get straight through to one of our fully trained team. We will take a few moments to set you up as a customer, so that when you place orders in the future they will be despatched quickly and efficiently. We will give you a customer number and if you could have this, together with the item codes and product

descriptions, it would be a great help. We will of course mail future catalogues and sample packs directly to you throughout the year.

On your first three orders we will require payment prior to despatch of goods. We recommend paying by credit card, debit card or BACS, which ensures your order is processed immediately.

HOW TO PAY

We accept most major credit cards, debit cards and BACS.

All of the lotions we sell are specifically designed and formulated for indoor use and add depleted moisture and vitamins that can be lost during the tanning process. In addition to these moisturising properties, lotions also contain different features which aid the tanning process

in other ways. Throughout the catalogue you will see our symbol guide to help you identify these key characteristics; you can use it when ordering lotions, or alternatively you can ask a member of the Bliss team as we are fully trained on all the lines we carry.

SYMBOL KEY

ACCELERATOR COOLING LOTION COOLING/BRONZER BRONZERTINGLE/BRONZERTINGLE

The GREEN CIRCLE means that the lotion is a purely accelerating lotion, specifically formulated to condition the skin and add moisture. This symbol confirms that the product has no tingle or bronzing properties.

The BLUE CIRCLE states that the lotion contains a cooling feature so your skin feels cool as you tan.

The ORANGE CIRCLE denotes a bronzing product, and there are three main types of bronzer which could be used - DHA bronzers, cosmetic/ instant bronzers and natural bronzers.

The RED CIRCLE indicates that the product includes a tingle factor,* which helps to stimulate rapid circulation on the surface of the skin creating an extreme redness and warming/tingling sensation that enhances the appearance and intensity of the tan.

*We recommend testing a small area of the skin before using a tingle product, and these products should not be used by beginner tanners, on the face or those with sensitive skin.

Bliss is committed to investing in our relationship with you and in the protection of our industry. We recommend all operators join The Sunbed Association (TSA). TSA was established in 1995 and acts as a body for all sectors of the sunbed industry. A non-profit organisation, TSA’s primary aim is to promote consistent good practice.

ONLINE TRAINING

Our team at Bliss continues to be available, so give us a call if you need some specific help on a product. Alternatively, we still provide UV training free of charge, whether you are a customer or not, promoting our view of responsible tanning. Training days have previously been held quarterly at our head office in Leeds, but we can now use Zoom to train your team as and when required. The session covers comprehensive information for your business, from skin types, regulations and active ingredients. Unlocking your team’s selling potential is also a key focus and feedback from salons has shown that our training has increased staff confidence and sales. Upon completion you will receive a Bliss Tanning and Skincare Certificate and on-going support and advice.

You can also access training links and videos on key products on our website – just click on the salon icon. Upon completion of a brief online registration you will be able to order online and review your orders. Don’t forget we love to chat, so keep in touch!

The T-Max 3W/G2 can be used as an independent timer, or as a front desk controller to control another T-Max timer in the tanning room for remote single bed control. HIGH-PRESSURE FACIAL (HPF) – AS DESCRIBED BY THEIR TITLE, THESE LAMPS ARE DESIGNED FOR FACIAL TANNING AND HAVE A VERY HIGH WATTAGE, SPANNING ANYWHERE FROM 400W TO 1500W. THESE ARE THE SMALLEST LAMPS, AVERAGING OUT AT 10CM. HPFs ARE USUALLY PAIRED WITH THE LOWER WATTAGE BODY LAMPS, MEANING YOUR BODY AND FACE ARE TANNED BY DIFFERENT TUBES.

SPAGHETTI LAMPS – THESE LAMPS ARE ANOTHER FORM OF FACIAL LAMP HOWEVER ARE MUCH SOFTER THAN HIGH-PRESSURE FACIALS. THESE LAMPS EMIT A BETWEEN 15W AND 25W OF UVA AND ARE USUALLY PAIRED WITH LONGER BODY LAMPS. THE SPAGHETTI LAMPS JOIN THE BODY LAMPS TO TAN YOUR FACE, REPLACING THE HPFS.
