SIEPMANN INDUSTRIES

History and Structure The brothers Emil and Hugo Siepmann had managed the company established by their brother in law Louis Peters in 1891 right from the start, only buying him out in stages in the period from 1895 to 1911.

The company Stahl-Armaturen PERSTA GmbH was later established in 1946, the same year the in-house production of industrial steel valves was taken up.

Die Forging Division The implementation of comprehensive process automation with manufacturing solutions for even complicated forged parts and our consistent adherence to exceptional quality principles are driving growth in the die forging division. Die forging, hot extrusion, welding and mechanical processing are the performance areas that are currently being advanced using modern technologies in what is already the company’s fourth generation. We produce dieforged and hot extrusion parts with an individual weight ranging from 5 to 1,500 kg in compliance with the highest quality standards.

Flexibility is one of our strengths. It enables us to offer small and medium-sized production lots a wide range of shapes and materials based on customer need. As a competent development partner, we are able to offer our clients a qualified service, starting with the product development (simultaneous engineering) and continuing via the material selection and mechanical parts processing right up to supporting industrial production at the client’s location.

Production Processes Our production processes meet the highest quality standards, enabling us to comply with the most demanding client requirements. We will advise you throughout, from the selection of the material right up to the most economical execution of the forged part. Our modern heat treatment meanwhile guarantees optimal adjustment to individual client requirements. This is also illustrated by our program featuring more than 250 different steel types across all quality grades.

Our cutting-edge machine park for mechanical processing provides an outstanding base for the implementation of relevant market and client requirements. As a competent partner, we hence develop tailor-made solutions, from pure parts delivery to a system supplier role.

We can offer welded components through the industrial valve division. Modern welding technology and many years of experience make us an expert partner at this value-added step as well.

Industrial Valve Division More than 60 years of experience in the development, construction and production of valves speak for themselves. Modern equipment and comprehensive approvals in accordance with international standards guarantee high-quality products and flexible compliance with customer requirements. The technical developments in terms of pressure, temperature and tightness call for highly stable materials with a dense, homogenous structure. The company’s core business consists in the development, production and distribution of high-quality industrial forged steel valves, variously augmented by valves made from hot-formed sheets and cast steel. PERSTA steel valves are distinguished by their high quality and reliability.

PERSTA’s high product quality, innovation capacities and flexibility have helped us attain the stature of a sought-after specialist for valves, gate valves and check valves. Today, we are being represented by more than 50 distribution partners around the world. The application areas for our products include: plant engineering, pipe laying, boiler construction, chemical and petrochemical industries, conventional and nuclear power plants.

Products The Stahl-Armaturen PERSTA GmbH production program comprises pipeline valves and components made from forged steel, cast steel and hot-formed sheet steel in nominal widths ranging from DN 10 to DN 1000, in pressure classes from PN 10 to PN 630, and in standard as well as custom designs. Pipeline components made from die-forged steel, in particular where the parts of the valve’s pressure housing are concerned, such as the casing and casing cover, as well as the shut-off system, provide benefits no other process can match. Our products are manufactured using the latest technologies. As a successful valve supplier, Stahl-Armaturen PERSTA is of course also in a position to manufacture parts in compliance with complex specifications.
