Introducing South Sea Cats
Launching in May 2025, South Sea Cats’ two 14.8m high-speed catamarans are fast, stable, and uniquely designed for Fiji’s waters. Whether you’re heading to a resort or joining in one of our Ride & Slide Half-Day Snorkeling Adventures, these custombuilt vessels offer easy boarding, spacious luggage storage, and an inflatable slide from the sun deck—making every splash unforgettable!
All Resort Transfers and Ride & Slide Half-Day Trips depart from and return to Port Denarau, just 30 minutes from Nadi International Airport and close to major resorts. For private charters, customized vessel pick-ups and drop-offs are available from other locations.

The morning Ride & Slide trip is 2.5 hours long which gives you enough time to head out to an ocean reef (often off Malamala Island or Tivua Island) for a slide and a snorkel before heading back to Port Denarau in time for lunch.
The afternoon Ride & Slide trip lasts 4.5 hours and features multiple stops, including a visit to a sand cay, along with sightseeing around the stunning Mamanuca Islands.
Boat Layout
Boarding is via the rear of the vessel, where the main deck offers seating for up to 28 guests. With open-air windows, guests can enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze while the boat is underway (clear covers are available in case of unfavorable weather conditions). A toilet is conveniently located on the main deck.
The top deck, only accessible when anchored, features additional seating and provides direct access to the inflatable slide, allowing guests to slide into the water below.
Charter Options Available
• Exclusive Use Half Day Trip –(28 guests) Available for 2.5 hours in the morning or for up to 4.5 hours in the afternoon
• Exclusive Use Full Day Trip –(28 guests) Available for up to 7 hours with an itinerary designed to suit the group’s requirements
• Exclusive Use Resort Transfer –(36 guests) Enquire for an itinerary designed to suit the group’s requirements
Scheduled Departures
For groups of 10-20 people, join one of our scheduled departures with other guests for one of our half day trips:
Ride & Slide AM: 9.15am - 11.45am
Ride & Slide PM: 12.15pm - 4.45pm
Eat & Drink
Both half-day trips include soft drinks, bottled water, house wine, and local beer for the duration of the trip.
The morning trip includes morning tea while the afternoon trip includes a light lunch.
Our culinary team are able to tailor the groups food and beverage requirements accordingly. Any customers with food
allergies or otherwise can be catered for but must be communicated at time of booking.
Activities & Other Inclusions
The Day Trips offer more than just the destination – the journey itself is an exciting adventure as we cruise through the stunning Mamanuca Islands. Along the way, guests can enjoy stops at tropical reefs for snorkelling, paddleboarding, and the unique thrill of sliding down our giant inflatable slide mounted on the roof! Snorkelling gear and paddleboards are included and flotation devices are provided for those who need them.
The itinerary for full or half-day charters will vary based on the charter duration, timings as well as guest preferences.
Children
For scheduled departures, child rates apply to children aged 3-15 years inclusive. Children under 2 years of age are not permitted on the day trip, and children under 5 years are not recommended unless they are confident swimmers. Children under 8 are required to wear a life jacket for the duration of the trip. Children of all ages are welcome on a Resort Transfer.
Exclusive Vessel Charter
Exclusive use of a South Sea Cats vessel means that the entire boat is yours to use without other paying guests onboard.
