INTRODUCING SABRE

South Sea Sailing’s SABRE is a 78-foot custom-built sailing catamaran, the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere. The vessel’s design offers an exceptionally stable and smooth ride, allowing guests to fully embrace the excitement of being propelled by the wind, all while feeling completely safe and at ease.

SABRE departs from and returns to Port Denarau, which is only 30 minutes from Nadi International Airport and is located close to a range of resorts and hotels. This makes the South Sea Sailing day trip, sunset, or dinner cruise a convenient and hassle-free option for groups.

JOURNEY

Guests will sail through the Mamanuca Islands on a route dependant on the warm tropical breezes and sea conditions, creating a one-off, unique experience each trip.

BOAT LAYOUT

SABRE has a selection of seating options (including 10 spacious booths), with the majority of the boat covered by a permanent sunshade canopy. Find comfort on two spacious day beds in the partially shaded fore section, or sink into one of the many bean bags on the expansive bow trampoline.

SABRE is fully equipped with a complete bar and dedicated meal service area, and for your convenience, a freshwater shower is located on the bow as well as two well-appointed onboard restrooms, below deck.

SMALL GROUPS

For groups of 10-30 people. Join one of our scheduled departures with other guests for our full day experience departing Port Denarau at 9.45am and returning at 4.45pm or our Sabre Sunsets evening cruise departing Port Denarau at 5.15pm and returning at 7.00pm (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only from July to October).

EAT & DRINK

If booking a full day or dinner cruise, a gourmet buffet meal carefully created by our executive chef is included in the price. Upon boarding for the day or dinner cruise, a glass of sparkling wine, mimosa cocktail, or fruit juice will be offered, with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water served for the duration of the trip. A complimentary selection of house wine and local beer is served for the duration of the Sunset Cruise, and for 2 hours during the meal service on the Day Trip and Dinner Cruise.

If booking a sunset cruise, a range of delicious canapés will be included alongside soft drinks, bottled water, house wine, and local beer for the duration of the cruise.

Four beverage package upgrades are available to choose from in addition to a fully licensed onboard bar for optional purchases.

For full charters, our culinary team are able to tailor your food and beverage requirements. Any customers with food allergies or otherwise can be catered for as long as dietary requirements are stated at time of booking.

DAY TRIP ACTIVITIES & OTHER INCLUSIONS

As SABRE is a sailing catamaran, the journey itself is all part of the fun with SABRE sailing from destination to destination allowing guests to feel the thrill of being under sail while enjoying the expansive views across the Mamanuca Islands. A day charter includes a stop off at a sand cay or a snorkelling spot to allow guests to disembark and swim/snorkel should they choose to. Snorkelling gear is provided along with stand up paddle boards and flotation devices for those who want/need them.

The itinerary for an afternoon/evening charter is dependent on the duration of the charter and the guests requirements.

CHILDREN

For scheduled departures, child rates are applicable to children 5-15 years inclusive. Children under 5 years of age are not permitted. Children 8 years old and under are required to wear lifevests for the duration of the trip, lifevests are optional for all other children.

EXCLUSIVE VESSEL CHARTER OF SABRE

Exclusive use of SABRE means that the entire boat is yours to use without other paying guests onboard.

Standard Day Cruise includes - currently: morning tea and gourmet buffet lunch, mimosa on arrival, soft drinks and bottled water all day, and selected wine and local beer served from lunctime for 2 hours. Use of onboard snorkelling equipment and stand up paddle boards.

Standard Sunset Cruise includes: canapes, soft drinks, bottled water, house wine, local beer are served for the duration of the cruise.

• Land transfers between selected Denarau, Nadi, Vuda, and Wailoaloa resorts only and Port Denarau, for the Full Day trip or between Denarau and Wailoaloa for the Sunset Cruise, are included for up to 30 guests on a scheduled, shared service.

• Shared services mean that SABRE will be shared with other Full Day experience guests on a regular scheduled departure.

• A tab can be set up for each shared use group at the bar but the tab must be settled prior to disembarking at Port Denarau.

BOOKINGS TERMS & CONDITIONS / GENERAL INFORMATION

GENERAL

• South Sea Sailing is operated by South Sea Cruises. All references to either are all references to South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd.

• All rates quoted are in Fijian Dollars and include all applicable government taxes.

• All quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to availability at time of booking/confirmation.

• All quotes are from/to Port Denarau. Quotes to/from other destinations can be provided upon request and will be subject to a vessel relocation fee.

• Ground transfers are not included in the charter rates provided. Ground transfers can be quoted separately.

• For scheduled cruises child rates are applicable to children 5-15 years inclusive. Children 4 years and under are not permitted. Children under 8 years old are required to wear lifevests for the duration of the trip, lifevests are optional for all other children.

• All services are subject to weather and sea conditions and are subject to alteration and/or cancellation as deemed necessary by South Sea Sailing.

• All customers must have a valid travel insurance policy in place before travelling with South Sea Sailing.

• For any customers with allergies to food or otherwise must, the client must notify the South Sea Sailing customer services and/ or sales team at the time of booking.

• South Sea Sailing reserves the right to alter prices, add a fuel surcharge, cancel departure or arrange alternative transport other than that advertised/confirmed.

FORCE MAJEURE

• Neither party shall be held liable or responsible to the other, nor be deemed to have defaulted under or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of this Agreement when and to the extent such

failure or delay is caused by or results from circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the affected party, including but not limited to: acts of God, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, cyclone, hurricane, explosion, pandemic, epidemic, government order or regulation, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, industrial dispute, labour shortage, or any other event beyond the parties’ reasonable control.

• The affected party shall notify promptly the other in writing of becoming aware of such event and shall use all reasonable efforts to mitigate its effects.

• If a Force Majeure event prevents or substantially hinders the performance of the event:

a) Both parties shall, in good faith, agree on an alternative date for the event within twelve (12) months of the original date, subject to availability.

b) If rescheduling is not possible, South Sea Sailing may, at its discretion, either:

• Provide a full credit of all payments made to be used within twelve (12) months; or

• Provide a refund of amounts paid, less any nonrecoverable costs reasonably incurred by South Sea Sailing in preparation for the event.

WATERSPORTS ACTIVITIES

• Customers are required to follow all operating guidelines and safety procedures issued by the South Sea Sailing staff/crew whether they be issued verbally or in writing.

• Customers will be held responsible for all costs of any damage caused to equipment and/or property owned by South Sea Sailing or third parties through misuse or carelessness.

PAYMENT TERMS

• Deposit - Upon receiving a confirmed booking a nonrefundable deposit amounting to 25% of the total booking is due for payment within 14 days of invoice.

• Payment - Full payment is required 60 days prior to the travel or event date. Bookings made within 60 days of travel must be paid in full to South Seas Cruises Pte Ltd at the time of confirmation unless the booking agent has an approved credit account with South Seas Cruises Pte Ltd.

• An amendment fee of FJD$250 will be charged for any amendments made to the booking within the 45 days prior to the travel or event date. However if the amendment is a change of date only with a similar value booking still being held then South Sea Sailing may, at its discretion, waive the amendment fees if South Sea Sailing has the ability to sell the vacated date.

• Expenditure incurred with South Sea Sailing during an event which is over and above the prepaid Food & Beverage option is required to be paid prior to departure from the vessel unless the booking agent has an approved credit account with South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd/South Sea Sailing.

• Payments made by international debit/credit card are subject to a non-refundable 2.5-3% admin fee.

CANCELLATIONS

• All cancellations must be in writing to South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd/South Sea Sailing and the timing shall be based on the day of receipt of such notification by South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd. Cancellation terms are as follows;

- Outside 60 days- Forfeit of deposit (unless transferring date).

- 31 to 60 days - Forfeit 60% of applicable booking total.

- 0 to 30 days - Forfeit 100% of applicable booking total.

RATE VALIDITY

• Rates are valid for travel until 31 March 2027. Rates for travel beyond these dates are subject to a 5% increase until such time as South Sea Sailing issues confirmed rates for the following April - March period.
