Each year, we fully fund students' demonstrated financial need through our comprehensive MA Tuition Assistance program. This $5 million investment supports nearly a quarter of our student body, ensuring that MA's future-ready, humancentered education is accessible to families across economic backgrounds.
At MA, families pay what they can afford. Full tuition for the 2025-2026 school year is $64,750, with Tuition Assistance awards ranging from 8%-100%. The average award covers 80% of tuition, and we also provide financial assistance for academic expenses and co-curricular activities because we know the transformational MA experience extends far beyond the classroom.

I THINK I MAY MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY TO QUALIFY - SHOULD I APPLY FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE?
MA is committed to meeting families at their ability to pay, and each family’s financial picture is unique –current families on our TA roster have incomes ranging from below $25K to above $400K a year. If you are unsure whether you would qualify, and especially if a tuition assistance award could be the determining factor of where you send your child to high school, it’s worth learning more about the program. We recommend looking at the real-life scenarios on MA’s website and reaching out to Tuition Assistance Coordinator, Madison O’Neill, if you have questions.
IF OUR FAMILY APPLIES FOR ADMISSION BUT NOT TUITION ASSISTANCE IN OUR FIRST YEAR, CAN WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE TUITION ASSISTANCE FROM MA IN SUBSEQUENT YEARS?
No. MA deploys our full Tuition Assistance budget each year. We do not hold back funding for families who did not initially apply for TA. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that we would be able to fund a student who enrolls without Tuition Assistance first year at MA. If a family experiences an unforeseen financial hardship during their time at MA, we recommend that families notify the school immediately so we can determine an appropriate course of action to support each student.
WHAT TAX FORMS ARE REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE?
1040 & associated schedules, plus W2s, 1099s, 1120Ss and/or 1065s (as applicable) will help Clarity understand your financial picture. The fastest way to share tax forms is to authorize tax transcripts to Clarity through IRS.gov. Otherwise, families can plan ahead and complete form 8821 to share tax forms with Clarity.
DOES MY FAMILY NEED TO APPLY FOR TUITION ASSISTANCE THROUGH CLARITY EACH YEAR?
Yes. MA commits to funding students for their full MA career,so barring a significant change in a family’sfinancial picture, families can expect their awardpercentage to remain constant. Still, we depend on up-to-date financial information to ensurewe arefully funding each student’s demonstrated need. In rarecases, theremay be unexpected circumstances that impact a student’s award, such as a significant financial windfall or loss, unforeseen change in employment or job status, and other children in the family entering or leaving tuition-charging schools, etc.
What will my Tuition Assistance Award Cover?
Marin Academy students fully engage in their studies & passions, explore new horizons, & are completely themselves – and MA’s TA program covers the full MA experience.
The following items are covered for all TA families at the same percentage as your Tuition Assistance award, e.g., for families receiving a 75% award, the cost of these items would be reduced by 75% (They are accessed either through a discount code or directly within your MA student account.)

MA se compromete a satisfacer las necesidades de las familias según su capacidad de pago, y la situación financiera de cada familia es única: las familias que actualmente participan en nuestra lista de asistentes de matrícula tienen ingresos que oscilan entre menos de $25,000 y más de $400,000 al año. Si no está seguro de si califica, y especialmente si una beca de asistencia para la matrícula podría ser el factor determinante para enviar a su hijo a la escuela secundaria, vale la pena informarse sobre el programa. No. MA destina todo su presupuesto de Asistencia para la Matrícula cada año. No retenemos fondos para familias que no solicitaron inicialmente Asistencia Técnica. Por lo tanto, es muy improbable que podamos financiar a un estudiante que se matricula sin Asistencia para la Matrícula durante su primer año en MA. Si una familia experimenta dificultades económicas imprevistas durante su estancia en MA, recomendamos que notifiquen a la universidad de inmediato para que podamos determinar las medidas adecuadas para apoyar a cada estudiante.
¿QUÉ FORMULARIOS DE IMPUESTOS SE REQUIEREN PARA SOLICITAR AYUDA PARA LA MATRÍCULA?
El formulario 1040 y sus anexos, además de los formularios W-2, 1099, 1120S y/o 1065 (según corresponda), ayudarán a Clarity a comprender su situación financiera. La manera más rápida de compartir formularios de impuestos es autorizar las transcripciones de impuestos a Clarity a través de IRS.gov. De lo contrario, las familias pueden planificar con anticipación y completar el formulario 8821 para compartir los formularios de impuestos con Clarity.
¿MI FAMILIA NECESITA SOLICITAR AYUDA PARA LA MATRÍCULA A TRAVÉS DE CLARITY CADA AÑO?
Sí. MA se compromete a financiar a los estudiantes durante toda su carrera de maestría, por lo que, salvo un cambio significativo en la situación financiera familiar, el porcentaje de la beca se mantendrá constante. Aun así, dependemos de información financiera actualizada para garantizar que financiamos completamente la necesidad demostrada de cada estudiante. En casos excepcionales, pueden surgir circunstancias inesperadas que afecten la beca de un estudiante, como una ganancia o pérdida financiera significativa, un cambio imprevisto en el empleo o la situación laboral, o que otros hijos de la familia ingresen o salgan de escuelas de pago, etc.
¿Qué cubrirá mi beca de asistencia para la matrícula?
Los estudiantes de Marin Academy se involucran plenamente en sus estudios y pasiones, exploran nuevos horizontes y son completamente ellos mismos, y el programa de TA de MA cubre la experiencia completa de MA.
Los siguientes artículos están cubiertos para todas las familias de TA en el mismo porcentaje que su premio de asistencia de matrícula, por ejemplo, para las familias que reciben un premio del 75%, el costo de estos artículos se reduciría en un 75%
