2 Warrior Way | Cincinnati, Ohio 45227 The 2017-18 school year was an incredible one for the Mariemont City School District! Our students and staff saw many successes and earned numerous recognitions at local, state and national levels. Teachers embraced new pedagogy with technological advancements and students were exposed to a world of experiences never before possible both within and outside the walls of our classrooms. And our continued focus on our Destination 2026 strategic plan amplified student opportunities and increased student voice and choice in the educational experience we create every day. While Mariemont City Schools has always performed well on state and national indicators, we know the true measure of an excellent school district goes above and beyond test results. That is why this Quality Profile is so important. It highlights the many ways that our district produces exceptional results and the many experiences that make this community and school district such a special place to be a part of. Continuing to provide an excellent education (at an excellent value for our community) means supporting our students and staff with necessary resources, safe facilities and learning spaces that foster collaboration and creativity. This fall, after a two-year community engagement process, the district will place a combined 2.5-mill operating and 5.75-mill permanent improvement levy on the ballot. These funds are needed to keep Mariemont City Schools at the forefront of education and continue to prepare our students for their college and career aspirations. This levy will have significant implications for all of our schools and will ensure the district is able to provide an excellent education to its students for years to come. Results and accomplishments like those you will find in this Quality Profile are only possible because of the support of our fantastic community. Our community, families and staff members help position us for success and we thank you all for your continued collaboration and encouragement. If you would like to learn more about this Quality Profile, I encourage you to visit our website at www.mariemontschools.org. There you will find information about many of our programs along with a student achievement dashboard that includes detailed performance data on the assessments our students take each year. Thank you for helping us make the 2017-18 school year such a strong one for Mariemont City Schools. I am thrilled with our success and I am looking forward to the many ways we will maintain our excellence in the years to come! Sincerely,
Steven E. Estepp Superintendent, Mariemont City Schools
