Ο Μ. Πρίγκιπας συναντά τον πιλότο και του ζητά να του ζωγραφίσει ένα αρνί The little Prince meets the pilot and asks to draw him a sheep.

Draw me a sheep.

I can’t draw.

Here! Take this box. The sheep you want is in the box.

It doesn’t matter. Draw me a sheep.

This is exactly the way I want it. Do you think it will have to have a great deal of grass?

Because where I live, everything is very small.

Ο Μ. Πρίγκιπας λέει στον πιλότο για τον πλανήτη του The little Prince talks to the pilot about his planet It’s my plane.

It’s flying.

Why? Do you come from another planet? Where do you want to take the sheep?

Why do you want a sheep?

In my planet everything is very small. My planet is as big as a house.

I want it to eat baobabs before they grow big.

Why?

Can a sheep eat flowers too?

Because they are bad plants. If you let them grow big, there will be a lot of baobab and they will destroy the planet.

Even if they have thorns?

Yes!

Then, what is the use of thorns?

They are useless. The flowers grow thorns just from spite.

Really?

I don’t believe you. The flowers are innocent!

I know a flower which is unique in the world. It only grows on my planet. If someone loves a flower , it is enough just to look at it.

This is a desert. There isn’t anyone here. The Earth is very big. What is the purpose of your visit?

We are roses.

(Thinking! ……) I thought that my flower was unique in the whole universe. Here, there are thousands of roses like mine.

There aren’t many. And they always run. They don’t have roots.

Where are the people?

Ο Μ. Πρίγκιπας συναντά την αλεπού.

The Little Prince meets the fox Good morning!

Good morning! Who are you?

I am a fox.

Come and play with me.

I can’t. I haven’t been tamed.

What does that mean?

You do not live here? What are you looking for?

People. I want friends. What does it mean -“tame”?

Now I am just a fox for you. If you tame me, we shall need each other.

You will be unique for me.

I see. I know a flower in my planet.

I think it tamed me.

Please can you tame me?

Ο Μ. Πρίγκιπας ανακοινώνει στην αλεπού ότι θα γυρίσει στον πλανήτη του The Little Prince announces to the fox that he will return to his planet

I have to go.

I shall cry.

You are right!

It was your fault. Why did you wanted me to tame you?

Then what good has it done to you?

It has done me good. I have got a friend.

Now you can go and have a look at the roses in the garden. You ‘ll realize that your rose is unique.

Ο Μ. Πρίγκιπας αποχαιρετά την αλεπού και τον πιλότο The Little Prince says goodbye to the fox and the pilot You are nothing like my rose. Nobody tamed you. You are like my fox was when I first met her but now we have become friends and she is unique in the whole world.

You are right. I’m unique for my flower.

I have to leave.

Goodbye. I ‘ll tell you my secret. It’s only with the heart one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye. People have forgotten this truth. However you should never forget it.

Don’t worry. At night, you will look at the stars and I will be smiling to you from on of them.

I will be your friend forever!

My little one, I want to hear your laughter.

CHAPTER 2: Stampalia Artists, Gymnasium of Astypalea

The five girls of our team, used colored threads and beads and five pendants in the shape of the Little Prince, and created five beautiful necklaces.

The five boys of our team, worked in a piece of wood, they engraved and painted it, so we used it as a background of the photos of this presentation.

In our school we have our own “little planet”! Our own “asteroid”! It’s a very small garden in which we grow vegetables, flowers and dreams!

Our garden lies in a room, next to our art studio, with an open roof covered with glass and a natural ground. During the morning we can see the sunny sky from our garden and the stars can see our little garden during the starry night. So, we thought to make a gift to the Little Prince, and leave it there for him. And when the Little Prince looks at nights from his planet to our garden we are sure that he will feel nice and he will smile.

The gift from the boys of our team to the Little Prince, was a little and active volcano!

The gift from the girls of our team to the Little Prince, was a beautiful rose!!

In order to make our volcano active and our flower protected, we asked the help of the teacher of chemistry. He did his magic, and using baking soda and vinegar, made our volcano active. Then he looked at the chemistry laboratory and found a test jar which he gave us in order to protect our flower.
