The Bluegrass Pipeline will transport natural gas liquids from the Marcellus and Utica Shale region in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio to an existing Kentucky pipeline that runs to the Gulf Coast. Pipeline Capacity: Initially 200,000 barrels per day and could be doubled to 400,000 Impacted Areas: The Bluegrass Pipeline will be built across Southern Ohio. The exact location and counties in its path will be based upon easements the project sponsors are able to secure. It is believed that the pipeline will follow a path similar to the recent ATEX Enterprise Pipeline being built in Ohio and travel through Mahoning, Columbiana, Carroll, Harrison, Guernsey, Noble, Monroe, Muskingham, Perry, Fairfield, Pickaway, Fayette, Highland, Clermont and Brown counties. Companies Involved: Williams (NYSE:WMB) and Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP (NYSE: BWP) Projected Time Table: Land acquisition beginning now; pipeline should be operational in late 2015. New developments are happening fast. As soon as they do we’ll post them under Breaking News on our website What You Need to Know If you are in the pipeline’s route, Bluegrass or its representatives will survey your land and submit an offer for an easement to build on your property in exchange for a payment.
