WHAT IS ECAP? - An Education Career Action Plan (ECAP) is a graduation requirement for all Marana High School students beginning with the Class of 2013. On February, 2008 the Arizona State Board of Education approved the Education and Career Action Plan (ECAP) for all Arizona students grades 9-12 (R7-2-302.05). "Effective for the graduation of 2013, schools shall complete an Arizona Education and Career Action plan for every student in grades 9-12." MHS uses AzCIS as a resource for students to work on their ECAP. When the students log on they have access to a variety tools to help them explore their next steps of their ECAP. Some of these tools include career and interest surveys, career searches, college/university and financial aid searches, and a resume creator. Please visit the AzCIS website at https://azcis.intocareers.org and click the “Just Browsing” tab to explore these tools.

Tiger Pride Athletic News TIGER PRIDE News First of all TIGER PRIDE! The Marana Culture is “the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterize” the athletic community including families, fan and staff. Our Committed and Competitive Tigers accomplished their goals on the course and in the water with outstanding attitude and character. The men’s golf team was recognized in a local newspaper article as contenders at the state competition level and brought home a win against Flowing Wells and Catalina. Both the men’s and ladies cross country teams had several runners earn medals at their most recent invitational at Crooked Tree last Friday night. Our swimming Tigers had their first home meet and earned the big W against our sister school Mountain View. Our freshmen and JV football teams showed Arcadia High who Marana is, by earning the win. TIGER PRIDE!!! We hope to see you in the stand this upcoming week. Our Tigers appreciate encouraging words, cheers, and support when they look in the stands, on the side of a course and at the pool. Honored to be the your AD, Ms. Montiel Turner Tiger Pride Athlete of the Week: RIGHTEOUS Football
