Joyas del diseño The best in design El triunfo del diseño es el nombre que lleva la exhibición de piezas de cerámica y cristal de la década de 1950 que se realiza en el Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. La muestra se divide en cinco grupos temáticos cada uno, constituidos por donaciones, ya sea de diferentes embajadas o aportes de coleccionistas, con el objetivo de reproducir cómo fueron los ajustes y adaptaciones previas a la producción definitiva del objeto, sobre todo en el rubro industrial de aquella época. Con esta exhibición culmina una serie de muestras con la temática de las artes aplicadas y de diseño industrial producidas a partir de 1950, tanto en la Argentina como en Europa. “The triumph of design” is the name given to the exhibition of ceramic and crystal works from the 1950’s, on display at the National Museum of Decorative Art in the City of Buenos Aires. The exhibition is divided into five themed groups, each consisting of donations, either by embassies or through contributions by collectors, with the aim of reproducing the methods applied to the prior adjustments and adaptations to the finished piece, especially in the industrial sector of that era. This exhibit culminates with a series of exhibits centered on the applied arts and industrial design following the 1950’s, both in Argentina and Europe.
El dato / Fact La muestra ofrece visitas guiadas para poder comprender en detalle los trabajos en vidrio y las diferentes manufacturas realizadas por distintos artistas europeos. The exhibit offers guided tours that provide detailed insight into the glass pieces and the different works created by European artists.
