With a busy summer fast approaching, hereโ€™s all the dates youโ€™ll need to make sure you donโ€™t miss out on exciting community events happening locally: 2nd - 11th May, Mayfield Festival of Music & The Arts

Founded in 1970 to originally raise funds for a new Village Hall, the classical musical festival boasts internationally recognised artists and professional exhibitions, as well as performances from local residents, with this yearโ€™s festival hoping to be the best yet. 10th May, Mayfield Mayfair The annual anticipated Mayfair will be back in Mayfield for a Saturday afternoon (1-5pm) of fun for the whole village to enjoy. This yearโ€™s theme is โ€˜Country Fayreโ€™, so pop on down to the High Street for games, food and entertainment, including the ever-popular โ€˜smash the crockery stallโ€™. 1st June, Uckfield Lions Big Fun Day

Raising money for local charities and organisations, the Lionsโ€™ Big Fun Day held on Luxford Field between 1-4pm, will host an exciting events arena, car boot, stalls and refreshments. To find out more, or to ensure your organisation is involved contact: Lion David Cole on: 01825 764755.

11th โ€“ 20th July, Uckfield Festival Now in itโ€™s 14th year, Uckfieldโ€™s community festival is back, bringing local residents together with a Grand Parade and events on Luxford Field on Saturday 12th July. The week-long festival boasts a varied programme of events including the Kit Car Grand Prix, Art Trail Exhibition and Murder Mystery evening. 13th July, Uckfield Lions Fun Run

Join the local Lions team as they run through the picturesque Buxted Park to raise further funds for local causes and organisations. Entry forms available from Chris: 01825 762839.

25th August, Heathfield Le March Augustโ€™s Bank Holiday Monday would not be the same without Heathfieldโ€™s Anglo/French market taking place in Station Road and Station Approach between 9:30am -3:30pm.
