Michael Collins, President | Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference Among the many promises in the Bible, this one in the book of Hebrews is one of my favorites. These words often come to mind when in prayer, and facing difficulties the seem to have no human solution. Promises like this (and there are many more in the word of God) are key to having the assurance that we can, indeed, face the future unafraid!

We are excited to welcome you to the 2021 Virtual Campmeeting, Facing the Future Unafraid! From our prayer services to our children’s programming to our youth and young adult meetings to our keynote speakers, and everything else in-between—our emphasis will be on helping you find in Jesus the cure for all your fears.

At our 2021 Campmeeting this year you will also find inspiring music, special features, and other items of interest from across our conference.

While we do look forward expectantly for an in-person Campmeeting next year in 2022, for now, we will enjoy the online presence of many from across our conference and around the world, who would probably not otherwise have an opportunity to join together with God’s family. Let us be praying for God’s presence through the Holy Spirit to inspire and bless each one of us, and those whom we may invite to join in with us!

ADULTS FEATURED SPEAKERS Dr. Gerald Kllingbeil

Associate Editor, Adventist Review and Adventist World magazines

Gerald A. Klingbeil enjoys languages, cross-cultural encounters, and creative people. He also likes talking (and writing) about the power of ritual. He has spent more than 15 years as professor of Hebrew Bible and Ancient Near Eastern studies at Adventist universities in South America and Asia, after earning his D.Litt. degree from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, in 1995. Gerald was born and raised in Germany and is currently serving as associate editor of Adventist Review and Adventist World magazines. He is also a research professor at the Theological Seminary at Andrews University and has published more than a dozen books and hundreds of academic and popular articles, dictionary and lexica entries, and book chapters. He makes sure that his wife Chantal reads everything he publishes and loves to team up with her for presentations and teampreaching.

Chantel J. Klingbeil

Associate Director, Ellen G. White Estate Chantal J. Klingbeil loves bouncing around ideas and dreaming up new ways of reaching the next generation of Adventists with the Good News of Jesus’ soon coming.

Born and raised in South Africa, she has worked as high school teacher, university professor, TV host, and serves now as associate director of the Ellen G. White Estate at the General Conference. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in linguistics at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Chantal enjoys team-teaching and team-preaching with her husband Gerald and together they just finished writing a new Adult Sabbath School Study Guide focusing on “Resting in Jesus.” Their three teenage daughters, Hannah, Sarah, and Jemima keep her young and on her toes.

Start your children off with worship just for them! For 30 mins, sing songs, hear about God from special visitors, and learn a new craft. We can’t wait to have you join us as we learn together how to be a part of God’s Kingdom.

EVENING PROGRAM

JULY 8-10 @ 6:15 PM

The evening program is filled with more lessons of God’s Kingdom and our place in it. Get ready for more songs and stories to hear. Remember that you are a prince and princess of the King of the Universe!

IS IT TIME YET? OK, so we are facing the future unafraid.

Right? I mean, we have God’s promises, so we shouldn’t be afraid. Right? But what future are we facing? Is it time for Jesus to come?

Or are there a few more things that have to happen first? How does all this pandemic stuff figure into our view of final events? And what about mission - our personal mission and the mission of the church?

Stories from the Bible and around the world will give us courage and help us know our part in whatever future may still remain.

Homer Trecartin

Retired Director of Global Mission Centers, General Conference Homer Trecartin recently retired from the General Conference’s Office of Adventist Mission where he was the director of the Global Mission Centres. He has served as a pastor, teacher, administrator, and missionary in a number of places around the US and the world (including working with Pastor Michael Collins in the Middle East). He and his wife Barbara long for Jesus to come and believe that will be soon.

While they wait, they enjoy nature, bird watching, their three children and seven grandchildren, reading, and various hobbies.

YOUNG ADULTS SPEAKER William Cork

Assistant Director of NAD Chaplaincy Ministries William Cork is Assistant Director of Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries for the North American Division, with responsibility for the Great Plains Region, consisting of the Mid-America and Southwestern Union Conferences (since 2014). He spend 20 years as a chaplain in the US Army Reserve and the National Guard. He has also served as campus minister and a church pastor. He graduated from Atlantic Union College, began graduate study in church history at Loma Linda, and received his M.A. in church history and his M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. Bill and his wife, Joy, live in Houston, TX, and have two young adult children, Andrew and Aimee.

Pastor Iki Tolu Taimi is a Tongan born native and was raised in Los Angeles, California. In June 2019, Iki accepted the assignment of Senior Youth and Young Adult Director for the Southern California Conference.

As a Conference Administrator he works with all regions to train, equip, and retain Senior Youth and Young Adults in the SCC. He advocates for innovation, progress, and social issues.

God made strong creatures! Not only did God make strong creatures like dinosaurs, but in God we can be strong too! Join the Kindergarten class as we use our imaginations and hands-on crafts to learn the lessons of being strong in God. Make sure you register to receive the craft printable download and a list of items that will help your child interact with the lesson.

PRIMARY DIVISION

VIRTUAL FUN RUN FUN RUN 2021 SUNDAY, JULY 11 @ 7 AM - 12:00 PM

Join the Man-Sask annual Fun Run! You can run, lightly jog, or walk with friends. Distances include 3 km, 5 km, or 10 km.

Online Registration Required at www.mansaskadventist.ca Please track your time and the distance of your run or walk. We are encouraging you to take pictures along the way to share with others in our conference by having them on our website at the completion of the Fun Run of those who participated in this event.

Once you have completed the distance that you have registered for, please take a picture of you and the poster (that will be provided for you) that shows your start time, end time, and the distance completed.
