At Manos Visibles, we have opened a new chapter for Colombian cinema. An ERA that drives profound stories, told from our own voices, with sensitivity, innovation, and a clear commitment to racial equity. Over five years of continuous work, we have trained over 300 audiovisual leaders, supported scriptwriting and coproduction processes, and built bridges with key partners such as APAN Brazil, the Ministry of Culture, Proimágenes Colombia, BAM, and universities across the country
In 2024, we launched our first co-production, Las Visitantes, and the ERA Racial and Audiovisual Equity Fund, which finances outstanding feature films by Afro-Colombian and Indigenous filmmakers. This ERA seeks not only representation but also quality, awareness, and impact. An ERA that imagines what has yet to be told, transforming Colombian audiovisual production ethically, aesthetically, and politically
We believe the future is not something to wait for; it is something to design. And this new ERA of Colombian cinema has already begun.

We seek to narrate the unseen country, the country yet to be told.
We are looking for strong audiovisual projects that explore the most pressing questions and challenges of our time.
We prioritize the transformative vision of women and sexual diversities in cinema.
In 2025, the Fund will award up to COP 600 million to support Colombian feature film projects, either documentary or fiction.
We want this Fund to be sustainable, aiming to secure financing that will allow us to increase our support from 3–4 projects to 10 projects between 2026 and 2027.
