Life’s Journey

Ms. Gloria Jean Lovelace “Chee-Chee”, 69, was granted her angel wings on Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was born in Little Rock, AR on March 12, 1949 to the late Mr. Joe Lee Patton and the late Mrs. Lillie Mae Smith Lockett and is preceded in death also by her brother, Mr. Thomas Lee Halton (Alma).

Gloria accepted Christ at an early age at Corners Chapel Methodist Church in Little Rock, AR. She later joined Greater Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bennett and united with the Greater Works Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael E. Clayton.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Ms. Marlo Ann

Lovelace of Sherwood, AR; one son, Mr. Byron T. Lovelace (Lanell) of Fort Worth, TX; four grandchildren, Marquise D. Hines of Fort Worth, TX, Taegan J.

Lovelace of Bentonville, AR, Braylyn T. Lovelace of Fort Worth, TX, and Amiya M. Lovelace-Edwards of Sherwood, AR; one brother, Mr. Stanley Halton, Jr. of North Little Rock, AR; four sisters, Ms. Melba (John) Halton of Bryant, AR, Ms. Martha Thomas of Killeen, TX, Mrs. Brenda (Timothy) Guinn-Phillips of Little Rock, AR, and Mrs. Gail (Gregory) Tolbert of Clovis, New Mexico; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins. She also had numerous friends including Ms. Nora Jones, Mrs. Juanita Kendle, Ms. Amanda Coleman, Ms. Rose Steward, Rev. Rena Dial, Ms. Barbara Merriweather, and Ms. Carol Chambliss.
