THE ESSENCE OF A BRIGHTER TOMORROW

My journey is over and I’m soon to be free, For Christ has now called up to me. The road was long, but I stood the test. Now nally I can lay my head to rest. My destiny lie far beyond human belief, In a world which I nd true peace. My loved ones I will miss with each passing day, For all the joy they’ve given along the way. So wipe away those tears because I’m not alone. My heavenly Father has brought me home. This is not goodbye by any rate. We shall all meet again at the pearly gate. I’m so tired, yet joyful too, As my time comes I must depart from you. I’ve conquered all the pain and sorrow As I look forward to my brighter tomorrow.

In H Words

Honor g the Life & Legacy of a M h , the world’s greatest usher, grandmother, and most of all a friend.

We Th ght Y W h Love Tod

We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought of you yesterday, and days before that too. We think of you in silence, we o en speak your name. All we have are memories, and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts.

CATHY JEAN CRUDUP GREEN’S

Life’s J rney

Cathy J. Crudup Green was born on July 2, 1955 in Little Rock, AR to the late Eddie and Johnnie Crudup.

She professed a hope in Christ and joined the Eighth Street Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. R.T. Sawyer where she was a devoted child member. She was taken to church faithfully by her grandmother, Sis. Rosetta Bradley, who also raised her. Later in life, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Luther Green, Sr. and to this union, three children were born: Luther Jr., Taurus and Tiffany.

She was later led to New Hope Baptist Church by her son, Luther, Jr., by hearing him talk so much about the church and Rev. Don A. Kelly. While there, she fell in love with God, Rev. Kelly, and the New Hope family. She was a faithful member of New Hope until the devil made a divide in the church leading her to join Greater New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of one of the God-filled Pastors, Rev. E.D. Lairry, until his death. In her last days, she was and felt blessed to be under the Pastoral leadership of her oldest son, Rev. Luther Green, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her life on earth: Two sons, Luther Jr (Charisse) and Taurus (Vickie) of North Little Rock; One daughter, Tiffany (Brandon) Berry of Sherwood; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; One sister, Linda Grandy; Five brothers, Larry Crudup, Jerry (Brenda) Grandy, Anthony Turner, David Sparkman, and Earnest Crudup; Two sister-friends, Julia Bullock and Brenda Frazier; Ex-husband, Luther Sr, who will always be family, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her Greater New Hope Family.

Ord S vice

Mi Me B L Me Go

When I come to the end of the day, And the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom- lled room. Why cry for a soul set free?

Moore

Miss me little, but not for long. And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love once shared... Miss me, but let me go.

Sis. Charlotte Johnson

Sis. Frenchia Ellington

Sis. Phyllis Conley Talbert

For this is a journey we must all take, And each must go alone. It’s all part of the maker’s plan. A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know. And bury your sorrows in doing good deedsMiss me, but let me go.
