Feedback from parents on our food has been really posi#ve and we now have all kids ge6ng their 5+ a day while they are here with us. We are in the process of applying for our healthy heart award through the heart founda#on too!
We have space in our Koru and Kowahi rooms and although we are full in our pre-school room we are accepEng enrolments for waitlists. We have created a dedicated space which we have opened up for the use of postnatal groups. If you are interested in using that space for a post-natal or similar group catch ups it’s a great way to use our centre resources for your bubs to play while caregivers can have a cuppa in peace and out of the house! The Kaiako are about to embark on our edible garden project where the Treewees will start to grow veges and learn about the garden to table concept as well as sustainability. Our long term goal is to cul#vate as much fresh produce as possible which will be used onsite for Tree House meals. For our li(le Treewees we know that there are so many lessons and enjoyment that will come out of this.
The school transi#on programme with Kirwee Model School (KMS) is working brilliantly and out tamariki are so excited about going to school. The KMS Pukeko kids are enjoying coming to the Centre to have fun with the totara room kids.
WINTER WORKSHOPS We have introduced winter workshops for the community and everyone is welcome. We have a sleep specialist coming in and are se6ng up first foods, child nutri#on as well as some other that we are s#ll working on in the background. Follow our FB page for more informa#on these are usually free of charge too.
