NEW VEHICLE The Malvern Community Patrol took delivery of their new Hybrid RAV4 Patrol Vehicle last weekend. “We would particularly like to thank the generous community support which has made this purchase possible,” commented Harvey Polglase Patrol Chairman. “A grant was also received from
the Four Winds Foundation and the Malvern Lions Club donated funds from their recent well supported Golf Tournament which also included generous sponsorship from individuals. and local businesses. “The Patrol, with more than thirty members, works closely with local Police to provide regular night and day patrols
covering Kirwee, Darfield, Greendale, Hororata, Glentunnel, Sheffield, and Springfield areas. “We help provide reassurance to the local community, particularly as the rural area is large and Police appreciate the additional eyes and ears the Patrols can provide,” Harvey concluded.
