Assigned to this Project in 2014, I was tasked with designing the conceptual framework for the Automotive showroom, which served as the prominent face of the entire project due to its prime location in a bustling city area. The design aimed to be both innovative and practical, reflecting the company’s image while enticing customers to visit the facility.
The concept centered around dividing the steel structure into two distinct zones. The primary zone was housed within a transparent enclosure to maintain a cool interior temperature while allowing customers to view vehicles from outside. The secondary zone, outdoors, showcased heavy machinery and complemented the showroom’s dynamic appeal.
Returning to the project in 2016, I assumed responsibility for overseeing the completion of the showroom block and managing the site’s overall layout, including entrances, circulation, external lighting, security facilities, and MEP infrastructure. I ensured seamless coordination with various disciplines such as structural engineering, MEP systems, interior design, and FF&E, contributing to the project’s cohesive execution and success.

Category: Office Building (Design)
Project Budget: $ +3M
Description:
Rehabilitation and redesign of existing buildings to become the company HQ offices with a total area of approximately 3,500 sqm. .
The project consists of two buildings:
- Corporate Building
- Business units Building
Business units is a 2-story building, redesigned to accommodate a full staff capacity that extends over a 5 year expansion plan. Not only with stone wall features and atriums extending up to roof level, but this building has the most interesting interior design in which a monotonous typical plan became a praised architectural masterpiece.
The Corporate building is a 4-story office building, with a unique exterior mesh facade covering over 50% of the elevations. Designed to house training rooms, 2 outdoor terraces, main cafeteria and an auditorium with high quality finishing materials to add beauty and enhance performance for both interior and exterior spaces.
I worked on this project in the Capacity of Architect, as my 2nd Large scale project I was assigned to the HQ building which held the main company operational departments.
As a rehab/New construction project we conducted a thorough structural assessment of the existing building to lay the groundwork for a conceptual design that would elevate it into a premier office space. Collaborating closely with our structural consultant, we strategically added a new floor and horizontal extensions to optimize functional spaces within the building.
Working in tandem with Broadway Interiors, we seamlessly integrated the exterior architectural elements with luxurious yet functional interior designs, achieving a cohesive and sophisticated aesthetic.
The interior design was acclaimed for its uniqueness and intelligent design, ranking highly in multiple architectural competitions in Dubai in 2014.”
In my position as an Architect on this project, my duties are summarized as below:
- Provide full architectural design of the HQ building from conception up to Tender documents completion.

Category: Interactive Installation
Description:
- 2015)
This installation represents a psycho-analytical study that focuses on visual perception and the role of imagination and memory in affecting our perceptual experiences. It explores a *Mind Dependent Reality* in which an embodied spatial experience is introduced where the spectators would view carefully assembled bits and pieces of projected images. Depending on cognitive perception and a bit of imagination the encounter would provide enriching experiences within an empty space.
Just like a good book would enrich our imagination to see the narrative of the story, or a good film relies on carefully designed scenes to evoke a realistic impact on the viewer, the effect produced by the installation depends on the individual’s perception, which is manifested through sensory input as well as unconscious recognition of the missing pieces generated from the familiarity of the scenes and the continuous mental processing that occurs when encountering ambiguous visual information.
1. Static 2D images with defined visual information in relation to perspective points, depth and space/objects coherence.
2. Layering visual information and creating an interactive visual display that engages with the different users occupying the space.
3. Live input of the movements that occurs within the space and merging it with the projected image creating a combination of both outcomes thus increasing interactivity.
4. Programming sketches that enable interplay between live video feed, motion detection and background images
1. Hidden [projectors (Static 2D images)
2. Mirrors (Reflecting visual information)
3. Hidden Cameras (Live input)
4.Processing Software (Programming sketches for interplay between live video feed, motion detection and background images)
