CHRISTCHURCH LIVING ADVENT CALENDAR 2022
Thursday 1st December to Friday 24th December
Every evening from 1st to 23rd December, a door or window will open at 6.15pm somewhere in Christchurch town centre for a surprise 30-minute pop-up musical or theatrical performance; on Christmas Eve the concluding event will be at 2.00pm. Free admission, no need to pre-book.

Following on from the success of 2021, I believe that the Living Advent Calendar has a long term future in the town’s Christmas calendar of events. The first series of evening events in December 2021 widely exceeded my expectations. We raised just under £20,000 over the 24 evenings, with the aid of local sponsoring companies and organisations. Audiences ranged from between 100 and 350 on most nights. My thanks go to the huge number of different groups participating, without whom this venture would not have been possible. Also to all the sponsors supporting the event and audiences who participated so enthusiastically last year. In particular, my personal thanks to all the members of the CLAC team who have worked so tirelessly over many months in order to make this event happen. We look forward to seeing you all again in December 2022.
