Essential Ingredients Button Mushrooms : 100 gms Onion :2 Tomato :1 Cashews : ½ cup
Ginger Chilli Powder Cream Garam Masala Sugar Ghee Salt Kasuri methi
: ½ inch piece : 1 tsp : 2 tbsp : 1 tsp : ½ tsp : 1 tbsp : 1 ½ tsp : 1 tsp
Preparation 1. Grate the ginger finely. Cook the onions and tomatoes together in a pressure cooker and grind them. 2. Soak the cashews in warm water for ½ hr and grind them to a paste. 3. Wash and clean the mushrooms and cut them into four parts. 4. Heat Ghee in a kadhai. Add the mushrooms and sauté them. Drain and remove. Keep them aside. 5. In the same kadhai add the grated ginger, the onion tomato paste, chilli powder, salt, sugar, garam masala and sauté till the ghee separates. Now add the cashew paste and the mushrooms. Cover and cook for 5 mins. 6. Take the gravy off the heat and add the cream. 7. Drizzle the kasuri methi and serve with hot rotis or parathas.
