About Us
From piling to full basement extensions, BHB are the trusted experts in creating exceptional underground spaces. Project Management
Every BHB project is overseen by a dedicated Project Manager who ensures the build runs smoothly from start to finish. Whether the job is large or small, they coordinate every aspect of the work with efficiency, safety, and precision. Our commitment to high standards of project management ensures a seamless process and exceptional results on every project.
Principle Contractor
BHB are not just a ground worker. On the large majority of our projects we act as the principle contractor dealing directly with the client and the client’s team on all elements of the structural build.
Piling
As part of either the basements’ structural shell or enabling works, BHB carry out mini sectional piling or larger full flight piling activities in most of our projects throughout London, with each project having some form of piling solution within the design.
Structural Steels
Whether as part of the basement, superstructure, façade retention or the enabling works, BHB execute the full scope of installing structural steels. We will engage with in house fabrication drawings, procurement of steel through to the required temporary works and demolition to enable the steel installation.
RC Framework
Further to ground works, BHB undertake superstructure works on most of our projects. This will regularly involve the structure being formed with an RC frame. These works are carried out in conjunction with the project engineers and temporary works engineers.

Basement Construction
This is in our DNA. We can take the project from soil analysis preconstruction to developing the sequence and construction methodology, right through to completing the waterproofed structural shell.
Attenuation
As the industry has developed it has become imperative to consider the attenuation of storm water and incorporate this design into the project whilst not compromising on the footprint of the building.
Waterproofing
The waterproofing systems are designed by a CSSW (Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing). We utilise a minimum of 2 of the 3 types of protection (A, B or C), selected for job specific installations.
