Content created and written specifically for iGeneration learners
Find Your Voice is specially designed for today’s iGeneration learners, focusing on real-world topics and challenges that resonate with their experiences in our digital, information-driven society. This dynamic course goes beyond language skills, fostering critical thinking, problemsolving, and analytical abilities, all while keeping students motivated and actively engaged.

Problem-solving tasks in each unit engage students by making learning English an interactive, hands-on experience, where they can apply their knowledge to real-world challenges.

The real-life topics and ideas resonate with teenagers’ interests and experiences, ignite their curiosity and provide a meaningful reason to communicate and stay motivated in their studies.

The videos, digital gamified practice and Kahoot Quizzes give the modern student the modes of learning they need to stay engaged in and out of the classroom.
A focus on growing with the students
Pre-teen and young teenage students are going through the most difficult period of their lives, as they grow through puberty. Find Your Voice has been specifically developed in collaboration with a child development psychologist and evolves over the four levels to ensure that the content, activities and skills development are always relevant and age-appropriate.

Value-based stories provide an age-appropriate springboard for building social and emotional competence and promoting responsible behaviour.

The tasks at each level are tailored to the learner’s cognitive development, with early levels using model texts and answers, and higher levels emphasizing rule deduction from examples.
The course characters and icons also grow in age as the students mature.

Developing students as independent language learners
Pre-teen and young teenage students often rely heavily on their teachers, lacking the strategies and confidence to take control of their learning. Find Your Voice was created to change that! Developed in collaboration with an expert in effective learning techniques, this course provides students with the tools they need to become more independent learners.

Learning Mentor boxes provide learners with revision tips and strategies to study effectively and become independent learners, both inside and outside the classroom.
Learning Mentor characters appear throughout the units allowing plenty of opportunities for students to revisit key structures and concepts, ensuring that their new skills stick.

An inclusive education programme

Find Your Voice features a unique programme of inclusive education, which includes tests for students with dyslexia and worksheets for students with SEN. The course ensures every student is fully supported, whatever their individual needs or initial level of English.

Mixed-ability reinforcement and challenge activities are available in both the Student Book and the Workbook to help teachers find the right level of challenge for all students.

Ready-to-go Fast Finishers or Need Extra Practice activities appear regularly to help extend and reinforce learning when required.

The SEN tips for teachers and worksheets for students with dyslexia support teachers to provide an inclusive environment.
Nurturing responsible global citizens

Find Your Voice equips students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive as future global citizens. Built on Macmillan Education’s Education for Sustainable Development and Citizenship framework and developed in collaboration with field experts, this course encourages students to adopt the attitudes and actions necessary to become tomorrow’s change makers.

The collaborative Global Citizens Projects in every unit are linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, encouraging learners to develop the skills and attitudes they will need to thrive in an interconnected world.

A related workbook activity encourages learners to reflect on their project and creates awareness of their roles as global citizens.

Each project concludes with a thought-provoking question that challenges students to think critically and creatively, while connecting them to Macmillan’s Education for Sustainable Development and Citizenship framework.
