McMinnville School
District aims for rigorous, well rounded education, targeting third ELA, eighth math, 11th grade ELA, and 11th grade math.
The district will ensure teaching aligns with Oregon state standards, focusing on equity and outcomes for all students, especially focal populations. The district will provide opportunities for rigorous college level education courses and a high level of student interest.
Support for career and technical education to students can pathway endorsements and pursue post secondary education, focusing on demographics.
District will enhance innovative practices and cutting educational practices that lead to improved student outcomes.

McMinnville School District will support career and technical education development and partnership and will promote representation of students in programs to align to building-wide demographics, with:
• Increased pathway endorsements at graduation (51% to 53%)
• Improved or maintained proportional representation of focal populations in all pathway programs to align with representation from total student population and demographics: SPED (13% to 14%); BIPOC (47%); ELD (9%)
Enhance innovative practices where artificial intelligence and cutting-edge educational practices are integrated into learning environments and operational practices which will lead to improved student outcomes, enhanced teacher effectiveness, and greater operational efficiency.
Support the wellness, safety, and social-emotional development of all students with all focal groups reporting and increased sense of belonging to the school and positive school culture as measured on the annual survey.

McMinnville School District will increase regular attenders rate from 71.6% to 75% (students attending 90% of the school year or more), increase the 9th grade on track rate, and achieve at least a 92% graduation rate across all demographic groups.

GOAL: Inform, engage, and empower all stakeholders
McMinnville School District will partner with families to promote wellness, safety, and academic achievement of all students with all parent focal groups reporting an increased sense of engagement, relationships, culture, and school safety on the annual survey
• Engage families and community partners in communication channels (e.g. surveys, listening sessions, PTA, empathy phone calls, ParentSquare) that develop and maintain accessible multilingual communication platforms to keep families informed and engaged in their child(ren)’s education, wellness, and safety with a goal that family engagement demographics for focal populations will exceed their percentage of representation in district demographics on the annual survey.
• Enhance culturally responsive practices and school activities (including conferences, athletics, concerts, family nights, etc.) that reflect and celebrate the diverse backgrounds of all students and foster an inclusive and supportive environment. This includes family cultural liaisons at each building to bridge communication between families from different cultural backgrounds.
• Expand school-based wellness programs that include mental health services, physical health initiatives, and social-emotional learning with active family participation.
• Expand school-based safety practices to promote safety, wellness, and a sense of belonging with active family participation.
• Develop a comprehensive and proactive plan to improve safety and security in all MSD buildings
