BUILDING SURVEYOR LONDON SALARY UP TO £80,000 + EXCELLENT BENEFITS The Cadogan Estate, a well-known private family Estate, extends to more than 90 acres from Knightsbridge in the North to Cheyne Walk in the South, from Sloane Square in the East to Beaufort Street in the West. The estate includes some of the best known luxury retail locations in the world including Sloane Street and Sloane Square and some of the most desirable residential locations in central London. As a result of a large capital expenditure plan they require a Building Surveyor. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading London estates.
Key Responsibilities • Professional skills to enhance the estate so as to achieve medium and long term objectives and to play a key role in the building surveying team. • Working with colleagues in the business and managing the output of external advisors to ensure prompt and effective performance, working both as part of a team and with a high level of autonomy. • Assist in the promotion and moving forward of public realm improvements, sustainability objectives and other special projects as they arise. • Delivering a range of projects including residential, retail and commercial schemes of varying sizes. .
The Individual • Will have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Building Surveyor and ideally be MRICS qualified. • Provide support to the joint Heads of Building Surveying. • Will have a sound technical knowledge covering building surveying, project management, contract administration and other professional skills. • Will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as to influence and drive a collaborative working environment. • Excellent communication skills will be sought helping the candidate act as an ambassador for Cadogan.
