WEEK 9 READING: TITLE OF READING

Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection? (Maximum 100 words) In Durer’s rule perspective should be we are looking through a window in a space. All the perpendiculars should meet a vanishing point. All the parallel should have common vanishing point. If they lied in a horizontal plane, their vanishing point should be on a line so-called horizon. If they are at a 45 degree angle to the picture plan, the distance should be equal to the eye and the picture plan. Equal dimensions diminish progressively.

Question 2: Describe homogenous space? (Maximum 100 words)

Homogenous space is where you could draw similar object in any direction and any magnitude from any given point in a space.

The traveller climbed up the ladder to the city, then he walked around to see what the people of the city were looking down at.

QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2 This scene is in the traveller’s view after he got to the city. This view tells that he was curious about what the people in the city was doing.

This view is when the traveller just reach the city on the ladder. He is looking up to see what is in the city.

To show that the city have what the people need to survive and floating spyglasses they use to look down.

Question 1: IWhat is the difference between autographic and allographic practice? (Maximum 100 words) Autographic is more of the arts like painting and sculpture which requires the direct contact from the artist. Which allographic arts are the ones people can reproduced in a distance without the author. Allographic arts works on the basis of convention. The level of the performance determined them to change.

Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? (Maximum 100 words) Because the city is changed and becoming more complex, the representation skill of architecture also need to be changed with it.
