The project, which served as my undergraduate thesis, is a housing development located in the heart of one of the busiest areas of Bogota. This bustling neighborhood is home to a diverse range of industries, making it the perfect location for a project that aims to become a hub for the fashion industry. The project proposes a unique concept where residents can live and work in the same space, with spaces for the production of garments from fabric to finished product, as well as exhibition and runway spaces. The apartments are designed with open spaces and ample natural light, with the goal of creating a connection with the outside environment. Additionally, the upper floors of the building are dedicated to community spaces, such as shared kitchens, reading rooms, and laundry facilities. The top floor is intended to be a shared space for all residents to enjoy and owrk in. The project is planned to be developed in three stages, with each tower designed to function independently while also being connected to the others.

The two main concepts for the project were the use of paths in different levels in order to create a connection and how mix use can also occur in the upper floors, not solely in the first floor.

One of the first explorations was analysing the built environment. How were the buildings before then? Imagine a utopian environment where fashion became the main focus and the building became a runway.r
